I think Mr. L is meant to be the type of confident fighter that Luigi wishes he could be; but because this persona is just a result of Dimentio’s brainwashing, there are no traces of the real Luigi left. He’s merely carrying out orders while thinking he still has a choice. The real Luigi might be timid, but he’s still able to be brave in his own way through his strong desire to protect his loved ones.

I love how fun this sounds! From Juno's delivery of the lines to the references to other songs and those jabs at the other characters! I wonder why he didn't call out Luigi though? Could it be... Oh yeah, I got it! Mr. L is probably a big fan of Luigi! Yeah, that must be it.
Unfortunately Luigi never gets to fight Mr. L in the game as Dementio defeats Mr. L shortly before you get Luigi Mr. L is supposedly in the underwhere for the rest of the game until the finale where Dementio game overs Luigi who then rushes to get out of the underwhere and into castle Bleck Dementio then sends a brainwashed Mr. L disguised as Luigi to help defeat count bleck once the count is defeated Dementio reveals the farce and he Mr. L and the chaos heart fuse to create the finale boss as all of them are defeated permanently Luigi uses his super jump to reach where everybody else is (you see with the immanent destruction of everything combined with the fact that he has escaped the underwhere before he was able to get to everybody else incredibly fast) So as there are no late game Mr. L rematches and at the end of the game he and dementio are permanently defeated Luigi never gets to fight with Mr. L and Brobot however I agree with you if Mr. L were to fight with Luigi he would probably complement him instead of insulting him after all Luigi is just so marvelous
YES Edit: oh god I've only heard 42 seconds and I love it Edit 2: THEY REFERENCED ULTIMATE SHOW SGHFGGGhGFUjBFUJ Edit 3: on my third replay and I LOVE the chorus. The way Juno sings the line matches the beat perfectly, and the fact that they used one of the lines from Ultimate Show makes me want to play this game. Sadly, I don't have a Wii U.

When I was younger and played this game, I always let myself get hit on purpose, and dragged out the fight. I felt that Mario and Mr. L should be equals in combat, so I let it go on until I got bored.
Count Bleck's song made me cry. This one made me laugh. The execution was perfect, amazing lyrics that perfectly capture Mr. L and voiced flawlessly by Juno. I'll be listening to this on a loop for the next two hours now
For some odd reason, this song has a Vocaloid-ish feel to me in its instrumentation and style - especially when Juno kicks it up an octave. It's a bop. Also, can we all just appreciate Peach's face at 1:46? It's so simplistic, yet... there's something terrifying about an angry Peach.

I don't know why, but I just can't get enough of the part at 0:45 . Between the animation and how Juno absolutely NAILED the lines, it's so...perfect. Not to mention the closing bit, with the jab at Mr. L's poorly veiled identity, just being hilarious to me. Seriously, I think this is one of your best works yet, up there with Lifelight and Finale. I hope to keep seeing these amazing works from you. There may be some I initially skip over, but something, be it a full package or a "behind the scenes" type video, usually drags me back to them. This, along with Ultimate Show and O'Chunks, Warrior, are my absolute favorites from this package, but this one takes the cake.

Best one yet, though all of them are fantastic. Loved the reference to Dimentio, and, I believe, the Year of Luigi! I’m hoping this isn’t the end of the SPM Musical Bytes, but if so, then I am certainly contented.
This is one of the best villains in the Mario franchise. They could have just done a boring villain where Luigi just puts on some different clothes and acts all evil. However they instead did Mr.L which is not Luigi at all, he's shown to be such a formidable for and he does so much to fight Mario and his friends. Also how Mr.L poses as Luigi is very well thought out. He has to be one of the best paper Mario bosses if not the best one.

You probably wonder "Where in the world can you see Mr. L and Luigi in the same room at the same time?" In the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials, Shadoop uses Mr. L's sprite instead of Luigi's. Possibly a developer error, but this could be hinting that Luigi and Mr. L are 2 separate entities in the games code and, as such, means they are two separate people. Mr. L is his own person.

Unfortunately Luigi never gets to fight Mr. L in the game as Dementio defeats Mr. L shortly before you get Luigi Mr. L is supposedly in the underwhere for the rest of the game until the finale where Dementio game overs Luigi who then rushes to get out of the underwhere and into castle Bleck Dementio then sends a brainwashed Mr. L disguised as Luigi to help defeat count bleck once the count is defeated Dementio reveals the farce and he Mr. L and the chaos heart fuse to create the finale boss as all of them are defeated permanently Luigi uses his super jump to reach where everybody else is (you see with the immanent destruction of everything combined with the fact that he has escaped the underwhere before he was able to get to everybody else incredibly fast)
So as there are no late game Mr. L rematches and at the end of the game he and dementio are permanently defeated Luigi never gets to fight with Mr. L and Brobot however I agree with you if Mr. L were to fight with Luigi he would probably complement him instead of insulting him after all Luigi is just so marvelous

Count Bleck's song made me cry. This one made me laugh. The execution was perfect, amazing lyrics that perfectly capture Mr. L and voiced flawlessly by Juno. I'll be listening to this on a loop for the next two hours now
For some odd reason, this song has a Vocaloid-ish feel to me in its instrumentation and style - especially when Juno kicks it up an octave. It's a bop.
Also, can we all just appreciate Peach's face at 1:46? It's so simplistic, yet... there's something terrifying about an angry Peach.

I don't know why, but I just can't get enough of the part at 0:45 . Between the animation and how Juno absolutely NAILED the lines, it's so...perfect. Not to mention the closing bit, with the jab at Mr. L's poorly veiled identity, just being hilarious to me. Seriously, I think this is one of your best works yet, up there with Lifelight and Finale. I hope to keep seeing these amazing works from you. There may be some I initially skip over, but something, be it a full package or a "behind the scenes" type video, usually drags me back to them. This, along with Ultimate Show and O'Chunks, Warrior, are my absolute favorites from this package, but this one takes the cake.

I always say that Juno is one of the best Luigi voices on the internet. Now he does a decent Mr. L voice too.
Best one yet, though all of them are fantastic. Loved the reference to Dimentio, and, I believe, the Year of Luigi! I’m hoping this isn’t the end of the SPM Musical Bytes, but if so, then I am certainly contented.
I've usually been a little picky about the songs that have lyrics added to them, but god damn. I knew this was perfect from the first second.
This is one of the best villains in the Mario franchise. They could have just done a boring villain where Luigi just puts on some different clothes and acts all evil. However they instead did Mr.L which is not Luigi at all, he's shown to be such a formidable for and he does so much to fight Mario and his friends. Also how Mr.L poses as Luigi is very well thought out. He has to be one of the best paper Mario bosses if not the best one.
I've actually been replaying this game recently and I'm glad to see that people remember it exists

You probably wonder "Where in the world can you see Mr. L and Luigi in the same room at the same time?" In the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials, Shadoop uses Mr. L's sprite instead of Luigi's. Possibly a developer error, but this could be hinting that Luigi and Mr. L are 2 separate entities in the games code and, as such, means they are two separate people. Mr. L is his own person.

The ending though: "I'm not-a Luigi, Number one!" is a flaw. This wouldn't make sense because he knows that the Count is above him.
