Korea somehow won that war and owned America for a while until granting them independence in 1995. 4 years later the London 2012 Olympics were held. When you say, "Name three countries outside of America," it is confusing you should say, "Can you name any countries outside the Americas?" This implies that they are outside of the Western Hemisphere. The first time I watched your video, I was confused as to why you said any nation outside America. I thought it was a joke, and my first thought was Canada and Mexico. You don't indicate North or South America or simply the Americas to mean outside the western hemisphere.
If you say "name a country outside of america" people automatically assume you're asking "name three countries other than American" i don't see the confusion......name three countries (=not continants) outside of america(=not usa) so litterally any country

Putting the s, north, or south at the end or the beginning of America lets you know you are asking about nations outside the Western Hemisphere or in the northern or southern half. You are giving America a singular definition Americas is a plural definition we are not just one landmass we are two continents, a central land bridge, and a grouping of islands. There is no other system in the world set up like the Americas. There are no North and South Europe separate continents so it's far easier.
