      @@whitewolf9547 not bad I ended up airing probably 2 to 3 ft above the coping. But I kind of gave up on BMX scene and transitions more towards mountain bike

    I'm 39 & still trying to figure out how to ride up & down on a ramp, I am just scared to let the rear tire touch the copin, but after watching this video, I will give it a shot.
    Thanks for the demonstration Señor 😊👍

    Thanks for this! I can get the front tire to hit the coping and air a couple inches above coping, but I can't seem to get the back wheel to hit. What should I do?

      Pull the bars more to your chest/hips while pushing through the transition with your legs. A bit like you want to manual up to the coping. When you get scared because your bike seems to overtake you, you are pushing enough. Watch also Tom Dugan's How To.

      @@xK4130xthanks man. what do you mean "when your bike is overtaking you" Do you mean looping out?

    • @xK4130x
      @xK4130x 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, but as you pulled your bars to your hips, you will avoid looping out by leveling the bike out by straightening the arms. Position at 1:54 is the goal. Look at the angle of torso to straight legs. That's the key. It's the same for jumps btw. (Dan Foley "Still Winter" Video, Minute 8:19).

      @@xK4130x this is like you bunny hop in the air right?

      @@Hassan-Alnajjar No, in a bunny hop you don't do that motion of pushing the legs in front of you.

    man, ive been trying to explain it to myself for the last 4 or 5 years and can't quite figure out the best method to make it click the way it did when it was explained to me by these two 90s Canadian Vert bros when i was a kid.
    So instead, ive been telling people its just an advanced carve. to just carve higher and higher until youre at the top, and then pull the bars off a bit as if the transition continues. and then after your brain fixes the erroneous advice i gave, to start shortening the arc of the carve without slowing down. eventually i was hoping someone would get it and then explain it to me again so i could blast again haha.
    thanks for showing up in my feed! killing it

    NASA makes entering orbit sound so much more complicated than Cody does.
