I think this is my favourite production of Dracula I’ve found so far! Thank you for uploading! =D I'm just gonna write down all my highlights in this show cuz there're many - Dracula's glorious wig (and the spiders in it) - the brides being his personal background dancers - Quincey, Jack and Arthur doing their silly lil dance as Lucy and Mina sing abt them - Renfields outfit - Dracula crashing the wedding just to stand there and Lucy fainting from his mere presence (which honestly, same girl) - the height difference between Lucy and Dracula - Helsing being actually kinda old for once? damn didn't expect that - Helsing’s hair - everyone's dramatic as hell trenchcoats - Arthur going absolutely ballistic at vampire lucy (like what were those screams buddy? ) - it feels like Dracula wears a different outfit in every scene and I love it - Van Helsings silly leather vest (like what even is this garment??) - the giant shoulder spikes on Dracula’s leather jacket - the whole hypnotized Mina interrogation scene -have i mentioned how glorious Dracula’s whole wardrobe is? Dracula asking Mina to kill him (damn this is actually making me ship Mina and Dracula) But also nooooo, why’d they have to die???? I really would’ve loved seing a full/longer version of It’s Over but I’m glad they didn’t skip it completely
Thank you very much for your comment, but Dracula is not a woman here :) This is a performance by the Japanese Takarazuka Theater, where all the roles are played by actresses, including men.

This is not a takarazuka performance- it's two former top star partners in a post Takarazuka production. All the other male roles are played by men. You're right though - the character Dracula is a man, although played by the great Wao Yoka

Is there anything Takarazuka can't do? This production of Dracula is hands down so gothic and gorgeous to look at!
