You nailed the feeling. My wife and I did a short day time tour there in Sept 2018. We visit "haunted" locations. I am rarely creeper out. I had the feeling of not wanting to be there. I was scared to look around the corners. I didn't want to set foot into the attic. None of that describes the usual me. It was an interesting experience. The place felt off. I didn't have any evps or interesting photos, it was us who felt differently than anywhere else we've ever toured or stayed. Can't wait to finish this and part two.
Also, thanks for teaching us how to use our spirit box properly. We've owned one but weren't sure how to set it. We will have to try your technique on one of our future trips. Lastly, I think you should see what you think of the Missouri State Penitentiary. That's the only place I've ever had two things happen that I could not explain.
Why would the killer even be there. It's more than that, over the years the ppl and investigations, different energies, and odd practices made neg energy and a new boss spirit. It's not the killer.
Just watched again today and honestly the sadness transmits the television screen for me. Just very sad. Have to admit this was the first time I’ve seen this house investigated and the guys that does the tours has shown that big axe mark on the wall. Bone chilling and the responses you were getting are indescribably chilling and direct. When I see things like this, and I’ve thought about this a lot, but honestly whether it’s a spirit that is painfully unhappy or like here where one is disgustingly vile it actually forces me to question what waits after we die. I’ve lost both of my parents, most recently my dad, and both were devout Lutherans who believed in an afterlife though my mom believed in “ghosts” but I’m justa bit more afraid. Perhaps that just sounds silly, but if those responses were coming from the killer why still so angry and vile? Big questions…

I've read, & heard it is very common, for men to become angry while in the house. It's said that, it's the murderers' spirit. He wants you to become enraged, to do harm to yourself, or others out of pure enjoyment.
My own theory is the family were murdered by a killer hired and briefed by the senator. That’s how he knew to gain access to the house while they were out, and to stay put until bedtime. It wasn’t a demon or anything close, just a nasty guy with a history of violence who the senator manipulated into doing the deed, and made sure would stay quiet, so nothing led back to him. That’s why you get such minimal emotional response - the killer was literally just doing a job. If it had been an evil ‘entity’ or an insane person you’d get much wilder responses. The true tragedy is that the killer simply didn’t care, it was meaningless to him because he had no connection to them and was just doing it for (probably) money and that’s why there’s no remorse. I agree that total horror has been imprinted on the house but I think what Mike was picking up on, and what angered him so much, was the utter meaninglessness of it all. That’s the most horrifying thing of all.

31:21 when I went to the house last year, around 4 or 5 in the morning we heard voices upstairs. Yet again, the voices were disembodied and sounded like they were played through distorted speakers, kind of like a scratchy intercom.
I've watched like 5 of your vids at this point and man you have abilities you aren't aware of yet, I'd talk to mediums and physics to be more aware of your abilities to connect to the other side. I say this out of worry for you. These spirits lie and deceive people and seeing how easily they effected your mood in this video, it just made me nervous knowing this entity has taken over people before

Went here in July of 2021 and we've got some intense EVPs, my mom got possessed and wanted to "beat me to death" (thankfully ran outside to the edge of the sidewalk and whatever got her couldn't go past about a foot from the driveway, and after about 30-40 mins, she was coming to it and unaware of what actually happened. Said she felt rage and saw red and just knew she couldn't stop gripping the axe handle (part of the key) angrily) Also mind you, my mom and sister went into the attic and sat for a moment, I physically couldn't get past that initial closet/entrance door, I could only peek my head in that first door and look, I wanted to go in there soooo bad, but something kept me from being able to go. Later on, after we got back home (roughly 1 week and a half, we listened to some of the recordings (still have A TON of it to go through, but have caught SOOOO much being as unprepared and inexperienced with actually doing the investigation) and so far, after I comment about going in their, an EVP saying "make you dead" responded, while on the tour before having the house for the night, I saw a shadow figure upon walking in over on the steps by the door frame and also looked up at the vent in the parlor/living room and saw, in FULL FLESH, 2 (yes, 2..T-W-O) males, roughly mid twenties/early 30s, short dark hair, very close in size of each other STARING directly at us and I had really deep/dull/painfully empty/aching pit feeling in my gut and it only progressed... I was insanely freaked out and creeped out by the closet under the stairs in the downstairs bedroom (where Lena and Ina stayed), it was extremely heavy, hostile, heavy and intense/strong presence that clearly dominates the space and I had been standing in the door way of that bedroom explain to my mom and sister something that happened and was going to reenact my steps and as I stood there, there was the heaviest and tightest/most aggressive...thing. So this felt, to me, like the pressure/closeness of a full body just about conformed to mine uncomfortably close and heavy/thick! Scared the crap outta me...also had sat in the parlor/living room area with my mom and we decided to turn the flash lights out and see HOW dark it could get, well..it's one of the darkest darks (and saw something even darker, full speed charge at us, and I freaked smacking my mom in the arm (like the panicky taps) and told her "TURN ON THE LIGHT!" alao heard what sounded like the entire massacre all over, the 3 of us had gone outside to cleanse with sage and tried to get ourselves together and collected and while this was going on, we caught footsteps all over the house, first coming to the kitchen door and locking it not long at all after we had all stepped out and closed the door. I also had it lock while I still had my hand on the doorknob and FELT & HEARD the lock.
I have stayed a night at this location(in 2020 or 2021), and what is there was definitely charging up. Me and my friend slept in the bed at the top of the stairs and felt like we were being watched from the attic room. We also watched a video on the location while we were there which they didnt like to much, itd given us a little more activity too. But all batteries in everything kept draining and something had even followed my friend down the stairs. She had also gotten activity from sitting in the children's closet by herself with no light on. Unfortunately we didnt get too much activity though. Which is why we said the entity was charging up.
U really gotta have a ear for it. Some are loud, clear, blunt, low tone, growls are also mistaken when it's really a noise or a creepy evp. Great head phones help to.
I have a suspect and a cause to commit this Horrific crime. Suspect the father's brother came over soon after they arrived home he said him and his wife had been arguing and if he could sleep in the attic space for the night. The brother that was murdered let his brother make his bed in the attic. The brother sat in that room smoking and waiting for his brother and wife to start snoring once he heard them both he went out to the ax brought it back in the house went up to his brother's room and started with his brother, all over an inheritance. The biggest clue that Leeds me to this theriory comes from the testimony of the neighbor, she had to call the brother because he was the only other person who had a key
Was the father the real target and if so why attack the mum and the children. I heard that the Rev Kelly the next morning spoke about the murders BEFORE the victims were found when he was on the train. Did someone pay the killer to get Josiah out of the way and in some cases the killer is known to the victim. Why can’t the parents be spoken to if the paranormal groups go to the house.
It seems only those poor lost souls have all the answers. Much stains of residual energy that is inbeded in the wood and air is nasty and intriguing at the same time. I still don't get how no one heard any of it and why he got away with it. I do feel it was between the father a deal gone bad, like gang members they'll take u all out cause of 1 persons miss hap and doings.

I don’t think it’s ghosts at sallie house or axe murder houses. I believe it’s likely something darker
It is only natural to feel the way you were knowing what happened to a family who had no chance of defending themselves especially innocent children
