Your comments while getting ready made laugh 😆 For me it's easy, I don't use make-up. I deny my aging face by not looking in the mirror🤣
Wow, thats's a big mortar and pestle
The packages of meat are also big over there.
😂 ! Yes the meat packages are huge in those big box stores! I think the mortar pestle was more for guacamole and not for grinding spices. 😃
Ivon is such a good cook! It was so nice of her to make the chicken alfredo dish for the family. haha She is such a character, she is awesome!! Seeing her in Costco was so sweet. Loved this video.
Thanks so much! 😃
Costco has high grade meat in the meat market area. Watch for sales. They are large quantities so you get a deal.
We were just there this morning.
That was a very funny GRWM 😆
🤣 Truth bomb!!
What a treat to have Ivon home with you!❤
I just love Ivon! Hmm,hmm, hmm so cute!
The precooked rotisserie chicken is $5 for the whole thing ready to go. It isnt an option for me due to my alleriges, but I think in the future, it could potentially be a good option to have dinner ready to go and thrn boil the bones. You probably didn't need it this week with all of your chicken stock prep. Lol
Yes, I buy the cooked ones usually! I used to always do a raw one if it was like 99 cents a pound and boil the bones. I want to try veggie stock this week! 😃
Today’s video was so much fun, reading the commentary you put on screen for your tongue in cheek make up tutorial made me giggle, as did Ivon literally loving everything in Cosco. You were so sweet to let her have the Starbucks! I had to laugh when Ivon was demonstrating the salad spinner, because that was one of my mum’s most favourite kitchen gadgets. She used to make salad for lunch nearly every day, and was always trying to persuade me to buy a spinner, but I never did. 😀 As for the pasta with Alfredo sauce, that is totally the kind meal I also like for dinner. It’s so super quick to make and filling.
I am so glad you enjoyed the video! Ivon always cracks me up!! 🤣
There are different grades of meat. Prime, Choice and Select for beef. Grades A, B, and C for poultry. Its quite possible thats the difference...or your grocery store is just more competitive on meat. 😊
Perhaps!
I love when your daughter is on with you. She’s so sweet. I wish you would talk more about how you grew your family. Also I love your husband and the way you have such a nice relationship. He’s so kind and patient.
Maybe some I can share!
For some years now, life has really not been easy. I feel so blessed because I KNOW Jesus is right here every step.
He has told me that He is helping me be more like Him, that He let this happen to me for a purpose. ❤ It makes me so grateful.
But it also makes me totally worn out and tired. Your woice and calm way of being is so wonderful. So I want to ask you if you possible could have your energetic daughters input in a clear section of the videos? Instead of all the short inputs.
I love to sit and relax after a long day with you. And I always jump a little when she suddenly drops in.
I really think she would love to have her own TH-cam channel.
I hope you don't take it as criticism of any kind. Because it is not meant as it.
But as a single mom with a tenage girl, I long for this calming minutes with a friend.❤
I get it! Thanks for your input! 💞
Also, I bought the lead testing swabs. My grandmas dishes she gave me have lead. I'm still working through my kitchen testing. So far those dishes are the only thing that has tested positive. Thanks for informing us that there are swabs we can buy to test our dishes.
I'm so glad you were able to find out!! 💖
I don’t have Costco membership but my niece does and I went with her once recently. I found meat prices comparable to Aldi though. That was a few mints ago, have meat prices gone up?
My membership is brand new. I was surprised that my grocery store beat their meat prices!
Love this!!! Evon is me every time I’m at Costco. The excitement. lol.
That’s her favorite place!! 😂
Ivon cracks me up as she was shopping and had to touch everything.
And do a dance!! 🤣
Your getting-ready commentary was toooo funny!
Truth bomb! 😂
Just today at my Costco , i bought that same ground beef, 88/12, for 3.99 lb!!
Loved the video. My son asks me to help him meal prep on the weekends so he has meals during the week. He is in college and doing a co-op a couple hours away from home. I think this meal would be a great meal for him to meal prep. We will have to make this. Thanks Karen for all your hard work making all these you tube videos.
You are so welcome and I am so glad you find helpful things in my videos! 💞
The frappuccinos your supposed to blend then drink 😉
What a fun day! Ivon has such a great personality 💕 Don't forget the Costco $5 rotisserie chicken!
I need to try one next time, you are right! I am such a Costco NEWBIE!! 😂

😂
🥰
Fun video. She was like a kid in a candy store. 😂😂❤
For sure!! 🤣
Haha Ivon is adorable .
❤
What a fun time with Ivon! Another great video!
Thank you!! 😃
salad spinners are a waste of space and time. you use it a few times then find its just easier to pat with paper towel. and cost co isnt always the great price, maybe comparable per lb but if you need bulk then its the store to go to.
I love my saladspinner. ❤
We use our every time we use salad. My friend donated her and regretted it afterwards. We must just agree to disagree.m😊
my sis used a few times, now it sits in upper closet collecting dust. and same for mine. i donated to goodwill@@jeanettekvinlaug2772
I use my salad spinner for the kids to make artwork with. Put a piece of paper on bottom of spinner and drip some paint or swirl on the paper then put cover on and spin it. Spin art kids love it! I actually bought a cheap salad spinner from IKEA just for that I think it was $3. I donated my nice one a long time ago.
