Coating is the process where coating materials are applied to the surface of the tablet to achieve the desired properties of the tablets. There are multiple reasons of tablet coating such as taste masking, odor masking, identification, release pattern alteration, increasing stability, providing combination therapy and so on. I've tried to talk about coating related topics in an understandable way so that my audience can get a clear concept about tablet coating.
