    I like the big retro wheels. They keep the old cars from looking kid-ified 😉😁

      Agreed. Since 14's are so hard to come by, I could have gone 15's but they cost just as much if not more than the 17" Alum. and everyone has 17-inch tires, so I figured it would be easier in the long run. I kept the 14's as you can see, so if I ever need to go to a points car show, I have them. Thank you for watching. Much appreciated.

    Looks good,I just bought those rims and looking for tires.
    Do you think 295’s on the back would work?
    I’m trying to get the widest,tallest tires I can get

      Well as you can see in my video there is about 3/4 of an inch on the back and the front of the tire is also close so a 295 my fit so long as it is a short but I think short tire look odd. I even think my back tires look a bit short.

    How's the ride? Bumpy? Noisy? Less roll? Speedo operation difference? I'm going through this now 68 Charger.

      The ride is good. It is not bumpy . I don't notice any more road noise than before, and there is no tire road hum. I did not do any roll testing with the old tires so can't compare but these seem good.

    Did you notice a difference in the way it rides on the new tires?

      Thanks for watching... The front feels about the same with normal driving. The back feels much more planted on the ground. With the old F70-14, the tires would spin and squeal with any form of spirited cornering. Now I can pull out into traffic and not worry about the back end coming round on me when merging into traffic.

      Tom, thanks for watching. Feel free to post the dealership info - name, location and how long the sale lasts. Don't want someone 8 months from now thinking there is a sale going on.

    Jmo original 15s look better.

    • @Scarlet_1971_cuda
      @Scarlet_1971_cuda  ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, the originals aren't 15's they are 14's. And 14 tires are way expensive. I do agree that the 17's I have are a bit short. So next time I'll go for a taller tire.

      @@Scarlet_1971_cuda I'm not picking on your car,by no means,wether 14 or 15s they look better imo.

      @@Incognito-cd5kl I'm not taking it personal. We all have different likes and I'm good with that. This was a financial choice for me. 14 inch tires are special order and expensive. To do 15's or 17's I would have to replace the wheels as well. So I chose 17's as every tire store has 17's and at least in my area 15's are starting to fade away. So why speed big money on 15 's just to be in the same boat a few years from now. I still have the 14's and if I go to a points based car show, I can put them on. But honestly those 14's aren't safe. I've already spun the car around into the center grass median once and I would rather not do that again.
