I don't understand why you play instruments. Your vocals are what makes you who you are, playing instruments distract from that. (IMO)

When they first started out as a group, they all played instruments. Later on when they got signed to their former record label, they went down the girl-group route where they did choreography for almost every song they performed. Now they're back to their original roots of being a band. Imo, their current vocals are stronger in their live performances now that they don't do as much choreography as before and they don't lose their breaths as easily.
