I have the Anvil and really love the holographic experience and separation. I love that the bass is quality and not too much and that the signature overall has a smoothness that allows me to listen and not tire. I have Pula 02 and Shanling ME 600 which are opposites . I am letting my 02 go now that I have the Anvil. I love the bass and punch on the ME600 and the sound is high quality but a smaller stage and more in face. I get tired listening to them but still feel drawn to listening to them . The Anvils may be the remedy for that attachment as I find these so enjoyable

My personal preferences, SIVGA Nightingale over everything else then I may rotate regularly with S12 2024. Be it Classical or Jazz or Black Metal, those two are my absolute personal favorites when I am not using Shure KSE1500

It just didn’t work for me at all. But it was a good lesson learned for me that the shell/mold and position of the BC matter so much for it to work properly.

Currently looking at the Pula Anvil and the BGVP DMA, leaning towards the DMA due to hopefully more pronounced BC effect. Do you think it's worth the extra money over the Pula? With Black Friday deals the BGVP is only around 20% pricier too. I enjoy using EQ so am happy to turn down treble etc if the sound needs small tweaks. Thanks!
Very closely matched really between DMA and Anvil, except that I do feel Anvil has more pronounced emphasis on upper Mids and may sound a bit sharper with Pinna especially if you are sensitive to upper frequencies

Hi friend, I was planning to buy the Hidiz Mp145 to listen to music (Nu Metal, Metal, Rock) and to use it in the 3.5mm jack of the steam deck, as it has an excellent soundstage, but I just saw that they speak wonders of the Pula Anvil 114, and I think it can also meet the need I have for a iem to listen to music and play (The Witcher, Doom, Zelda, only campaign mode games, no multiplayer shooter), you recommend me? Mp145 ($100) or the Pula Anvil 114 ($160) I hope you can help me decide between those 2.
On a personal level, for myself I will always pick MP145 over Anvil because I am a huge fan of planars transient speed and airy sound. But Anvil will be excellent for your intended usage and purpose
I just insta bought the bgvp Feather , looked interesting and was only 100€ .. Maybe again my brain foolish me , because i wanted some more endgame like for Gaming/Music. I will see if it was worth it at least.

I don't have Penon Fan 3 to compare. DMA is tuned similarly to Anvil, and it is a little less energetic overall, a bit more moderate with upper Mids where as noted in this video, Anvil is markedly more pronounced and might even be considered as a little brighter in that region. Overall they are pretty much on par technically. I do feel that DMA offers a bit more of maturity in sound presentation where Anvil is all about dynamism
Is the CKLVX a better Harmon tuning than the Supermix 4? I now have the Letshuoer S12 2024 and I am not sure I like it more than the SM4, and it's probably the thick mids of S12 are too much for me and the piezo driver sound I might like better than the planar timbre. But I will give my ears time to burn in.
SM4 to me is closer to V sort of energy and vibe and D62 is overall smoother and a bit more mature sounding (which also means it is less aggressive as SM4)
Both P7 and Anvil will do great with electric guitars, Anvil offer sharper edged imaging and P7 a more natural overtones. You just need to decide which one you like more

I would get P7 + Effect Audio Ares 2 cable which is a much better deal than the stock Pilgrim. To me Pilgrim is excellent when you use it in Noire configuration with upgraded cable but that would push the price even higher. So a P5 with ARES 2 cable offers similar level of quality and still costing less than a Pilgrim with upgraded cable

I am suggesting 4.4mm BAL because despite being highly efficient, P7 scales well with power which you will get from the 4.4mm side of DX180

Should be good. Pa02 and S12 Pro are both excellent IEMs so you can't go wrong with any one of them

Yes, something very technical. But I would not use Anvil for Extreme Metal, it can bee too spicy for Extreme Metal type

Close enough. I do feel that Concerto offers faster transient speed for more complex stuffs due to the xMEMs and Superlinear planar
