Very fresh approach & interpretation to give new life to a classic , it is definitely very interesting & also made the stones an appealing subject to me again. Props to Jane's addiction !

But for me, dumping the bongos makes this more of interpretation, than a cover & it has really cool spacious haunting quality, I've never heard on any other cover. Less is more.

Love this version better than The Stones. Perry Ferrell has such a rich voice and the instrumentals are haunting. Ferrell is a believable Lucifer, more so than Jagger

First time I had heard this version of Janes doing this. Ive the other since I was a kid and is over 20 years. This version is cool. I think it shows some maturity in Perry Farrel for not singing at the highest note he can hit even though he could but it high as hell anytime he would want to .As a singer I have learned not to sing high as hell all the time just because you can!!!!!!!!! This is good but the Janes cover on their first album along with Velvet Underground’s Rock n Roll cover that goes into Sympathy is far superior. Highly recommend searching for it. God it’s good
