I know this video isn't exactly new, but I recently found these videos and as odd as this may sound, I'm using them to play along with on trumpet. I'm creating exercises on the fly - articulation, arpeggios, lip slurs, tonguing, double/triple tonguing, long tones, scale exercises, etc. They work really well to help keep me focused, sometimes for more than an hour at a time. My technique, which has suffered a long, slow degradation over years of not being pushed, is finally coming back strong. Thanks!

Hello my name is Trevor. My favorite guitar is My 2014 Mexican telecaster.. I use a small Marshall amp, and A boss loop pedal , Sometimes there’s some delay but I’ll try to keep it simple. Thank you for putting these drum tracks on here. They help me practice while currently living in an apartment. God bless to everyone. Keep practicing
I used the same guitar with some reverb (depending) through a Spark amp which is nothing compared to a Marshall!

Oh, cool! I was wondering at the slow tempos if your bass drum technique is all hip and leg. I have trouble with the slower beats trying to relax...thanks
Mostly, yeah. I don't really think about technique all that much when I'm playing slow. I mostly think about volume and consistency. Sometimes think about heel up or heel down, but that just kind of happens automatically with volume decisions. For me, technique comes into play with speed and endurance training, but again, when I'm playing, I just play and think about the musicality.
This is actually perfect because I'm actually stoned right now.
