I have loved this beautiful poem ever since the first time I read it, a little over ten years ago, not long after Sara had composed it. And I was filled with emotion when I first heard it put to music by Ērichs several years later. It has been performed beautifully by several superb soloists and choirs over the years. But I am partial to two in particular... one recorded just last month in Kranj, Slovenija by my friend (and Superb soprano 💖) Ernestina Jošt, with a choir composed of excellent singers from her hometown and her alma mater high school, Gimnazija Kranj... and this one by this absolutely wonderful Tallinn University Chamber Choir with Andriana as the soloist. The beauty of both of these performances is nearly overwhelming.⚘ th-cam.com/video/scnDqydpwlI/w-d-xo.html
In your opinion only. Yes, It is beautiful, but no more so than this beautiful performance by this superb Tallinn choir with Andriana as the soloist, or the performance of it by Ernestina Jošt with the choir of her high school alma mater last month in Kranj, Slovenija. 💖
Only in sleep I see their faces, Children I played with when I was a child. Louise comes back with her brown hair braided, Annie with ringlets warm and wild. Only in sleep, time is forgotten. What may have come to them; who can know? Yet, we played last night, as long ago, And the doll house stood at the turn of the stair. Only in sleep, time is forgotten. What may have come to them; who can know? Yet, we played last night, as long ago, And the doll house stood at the turn of the stair. The years had not sharpened their smooth round faces; I met their eyes and found them mild. Do they, too, dream of me, I wonder? And for them, am I... am I, too, a child? Am I... a child?... A child. 💖⚘ ____________________________________

Great work of cinematography by Tofik Tallinn (Precious moments) !
A truly beautiful rendition and wonderful setting for this inspirational music!
Восхитительно, потрясающе! Совершенно эльфийский клип и по музыке, и по видеоряду.
Simply heavenly❤

TrinityCollegeChoir has the best version for this one.
especially when Rachel Ambrose Evans sings it with a wonderful voice
