Does anyone have an idea why all available WiFi networks are grayed out? I can't manage to connect to one in the console either.

@TechWorldDeb Would you be so kind to show how is it possible to verify bodhi linux iso image in Windows?

    • @TechWorldDeb

Always download iso from official website. Using checksum calculator you can generate checksums and verify with given checksums in official website of any iso file . download from here : download.cnet.com/checksum-calculator/3000-20431_4-75744742.html

The web browser manager totally failed on me. Not even a good experience. Good old Synaptic saves the day.

Hi, i am going to use for the first time Linux. I have some questions. Bodhi Linux is lightweight, it looks very good, but other Distros have also lightweight options.
I am not a programmer or IT guy. But i know basic things about computers. I want something Debian based, because i heard that Debian is most stable.
    1) I have an imac from 2009 with 8gb Ram.
Which lightweight, user friendly, complete and good looking Linux Distro do you recommend for my Imac?
    2) I have also a new laptop from HP. Just bought. It has a i5 processor with 16gb Ram.
Which user friendly, complete and good looking Linux Distro do you recommend?
    3) If i can use a lightweight Distro on an old computer. Can i use it also on a new computer?
    4) What are the benefits to use a lightweight Distro on a new computer, especially a laptop?
    5) I was thinking also about KDE plasma, Ultra Marine Linux, Alpine Linux, Open Suse, NixOs
Actually, I prefer to use the same Distro on each computer. The same Distro in lightweight and Normal or both in lightweight. I am not a gamer. Only sometimes. I want to do also some simple video editing with the Distros. Vacation videos.
I want the best possible option. I will wait for your reply. Thank you very much.

Thanks for your comment and your interest in Linux.
Debian is the most stable distro indeed and easy to use.
You shouldn't use lightweight distros in new PCs.
You can use Debian 12 Original Gnome based Distro in your New laptop. It's very easy to use and your needs will be fulfilled. You download Debian live iso for it.
For lightweight distro you can use MX Linux 23 or LMDE 6 (Both Debian based) in old or new PCs.
Reviews of these distros are available in my channel.

@@TechWorldDeb Thank you for your reply.
      1) So you mean not to use Bodhi Linux in my new Pc but i can use it in my old Mac?
      2) Is Bodhi Linux Good and has it good Support?
      3) Has bodhi Linux also a version for new pc's?
      3) Ok, but then , actually i want a Distro which is user friendly, stable, easy to install and a good support, which has 2 versions, one for old pc's and one for new pc's which i can use at the same time in both old and new pc. Because i don't want different Distro's on each Pc. Does MX Linux 23 or LMDE 6 has 2 versions, one for old and one for new pc?
      4) Does MX Linux 23 or LMDE 6 have also good support and are they easy to install?
      5) Is Linux Mint also as good as MX Linux 23 or LMDE 6 and has Linux Mint a good Support and is it easy to install?
As a first time user of Linux, I want to make the right choice from the beginning because i don't want to switch within a short time. I don't have the time to switch everytime from one distro to another. Ok, I will wait for your reply. Thank you.

@@sunilkhusial okay I understand all the things you mentioned. The Best distro for you is LMDE 6. You can use it in old and in new pc ( don't need separate versions ) . It is super stable ,very user-friendly, easy to install, has great community support and you will get updates upto 5 years. This is the best distro for beginners. You will love it .

@@TechWorldDeb Hello, thank you very much for your advise. I was also thinking in that direction to use LMDE6. It looks good and it is Debian. One last question. What will happen after 5 years updates? Do i have to install again with their latest version?

    • @TechWorldDeb
      @TechWorldDeb  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

@@sunilkhusial After 5 years you have to upgrade to the next release that is LMDE 7. This is not a hard task .No new installation required.
