- what are your opinions on nadia & guzman? i see a lot of people judging her because "she changed for a white boy." i don't agree with that tbh. omar has done some stuff that goes againts their religion too but only nadia is getting slack. i see her as a religious girl who fell in love and yeah she's changing but for herself. she's a human and we're allowed to change. she still strongly defends her beliefs and guzman respects them and her. according to society she messed up but that's only because there's always more standards for how a girl should act than how a boy should act. i see myself a lot in nadia for different reasons that i won't put out here cuz they're long and personal but i respect nadia. in order to be happy she doesn't have to leave her religion because she loves it and that's part of who she is, her religion makes her happy and no one forces her to anything. she's her own person and just because you believe in something doesn't mean you have to follow everything.

Nobody is going to talk about how gorgeous Nadia was in season 2
Yea it astounds me how she’s getting bashed for having sex when Omar lol when winning from being gay, drinking and working at a bar. I wished they had more dialogue, longer moments between the two like him taking her out to dinner or movie instead meeting in a club or him telling his parents about her. Over all I love their relationship they have shown they still love each other lol Guzman got it so bad for her he can’t stop staring he should have broken up with Lu long time. I feel from season 1 it was leading up to her kissing and getting with Guzman because she always wanted to explore but chose her faith. I understand her struggles of loving someone but can’t openly love them properly wish she shared that with Omar cuz he doesn’t seem to know about them. They are my favourite ship of the show. She did not wrong people are human we sin and make mistakes and most of all they are teenagers
exactly and guzman is in love with her and he really tries to be a better person for her. he's even been willing to confront her parents and a lot of things to be with her. they both care for each other a lot and just want what's best for both of them.
LittleViolence yes that’s what I love about him too he didn’t care about Lu outing their relationship he just wanted to be with Nadia and ready to saw her parents. She’s the only one who made him smile a lot this season and I love how she convinced him stop to taking the drugs and his blowing it so she wouldn’t sniff. It’s the little things they do man so cute. When he ask her if she was okay lol in that locker scene and about being there for her with her dad stuff.

I didn't understand all the hate Nadia was getting, i mean yes i did think that having sex in the school showers was out of character a little but i think we forget that its Elite anything can happen + we only have 8 episodes so we don't have time for such a slow progression! honestly the only thing people should be complaining about is More representation instead of bashing this one
It makes me wonder if it would have been had Guzman been a white Muslim lol it’s ridiculous people find anything to complain about. A show like elite pushes boundaries there’s no way Guzman and Nadia wouldn’t have taken it to another level. I just wish they have longer dialogue and admit to loving each other like they told Valerio. More cute bf/gf scene but who knows cuz that tape have their relationship as a big question sign she might go back to her old stern self. Yes! I feel religion shouldn't come before your personal well-being. If you and someone else love each other it doesn't make sense to not be together because of religion. You're literally denying yourself happiness in life, and will later end up with someone who is not as good as the person you wanted to be with from the start. Then your life becomes sad and you regret your decisions.
Guzman was going tru way too much in season 2 to have cute feels scenes.. but they still had it
omg this is so beautiful, you're the best! I have to be honest, the last season I didn't ship nadia and guzman at all but this season gives me the vibes of their relationship and I hope to see more of them in the next season

As usual I love your videos and have done so since season 1 of this show. I am enjoying the progression of this show and Nadia and Guzman's growth. I probably would have still liked it if she had remained the super pure and prim girl she was in season 1 but I would have found also found it very worrying that such a intensely sexy show had kept her virginal and put her purity on a pedestal. I think she wouldn't have felt like a real participant in her own story somehow which is the total opposite of Omar and it would reinforce certain patriarchal notions about female sexuality that I don't really care for.
Nadia to me feels like a real person exploring her identity which is what teens do. Anyone can start out very conservative and religious and become less so along the way or change their mind about how they interpret their beliefs , I know I did . I think Islam is very much like any other Abrahamic religion and its very dependent on how an individual expresses and interprets their belief

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Nadia taking off her hijab and having sex, humans change and grow, it's just that the execution was terrible and rushed. I'm not a hijabi but one of my friends who used to be recently stopped wearing her hijab, and it wasn't a decision she made abruptly in a club bathroom so she could flaunt her new self lol. It would have been nice if Nadia had a discussion with her parents about not wearing the hijab instead of going behind their backs, it would also be a MUCH healthier portrayal if her parents would be more accepting about her in this regard.
