    Those dang mussels .... they are the worst!!! That whole one is AWESOME!!! Those are the only ones I keep. I think I only have 2 whole ones. One my granddaughter found and the other one Nathan, my some, found! They’re in my showcase. 💯🙌🏼
    What a great place for a kid to go. They would be so excited to find all these! Happy trails! 🙌🏼😃

      Those mussel shells ruin so much. I miss going barefoot at certain sandy beaches. Can't because of them, they will cut your foot. This place was amazing to visit and explore ! It really is worth the stop. Thanks for watching ! Happy adventures 😊

    Ordovician rather than Devonian formations on the Stonington Peninsula.

      I got my information from Wikipedia "Animals of Devonian Michigan" which states that Brachiopods are shelled creatures that were quite common in the Devonian Period.

      @trachodon 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@upnorthadventureswithccc Absolutely true statement, but they are found across many stratas. Some even exist today (Lingula). Your finds are, again, Ordovician.
