This right here was slept on for real even by me 😂 I bought it at launch and didn’t jump into until now in February 2023 wow it’s really a amazing!! Tough but fair and the world so many alien vibes and the music is fuego.
With as many planets as there are in the entire universe, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if there was one very similar to the planet in this game, with similar living beings.
@@czrmalone4441 Facts. It gets weird if you just stop and really think for a second what other life forms could possibly be out there and what their technology would be like. Whether they’re living now or if they did millions of years ago. It’s mind boggling. Most people never think about this kind of thing. Every time I hear this music when hovering on the game on the dashboard, I instantly think of all of this…
Definitely the most helpless feeling game ever. We can't even imagine forever being imprisoned in a space time loop where there's no escape, even death is irrelevant. Combined with the music! Literally beyond words. I hate sad and depressing games but this one is absolutely unique cuz it's beyond all that, it's been months I played it but I often still think about it. Maybe I feel this way cuz I'm a fan of science and maybe it's also the subconscious knowledge that there very well could be a place like that in an alternate universe. It's beyond scary for me to even imagine it, the ghosts and monsters seems like childsplay compared to the lore of Returnal. I think the "it was all a dream" part killed the limitless potential of the story, it makes sense and weirdly enough it's also countless times less helpless despite the fact that her son dies cuz it meant that she wasn't stuck in an infinite loop but just the sorrow of loss.
"it was all dream" while it's obvious that can be an explanation, IMO again like everything else in Returnal - it's not so simple. Both theories are/can be true and are not exclusive! (it was all a dream/it was real) For me what happened happened - what do I mean by that? --- The planet exists, the world & its lore is too deep/inventive/detailed to be a mere coping mechanism. It is even more of a cosmic horror that an entity (or god knows what) is using her trauma for a reason (or not) --- feeding of it; needing it for some reason eg: to live or trying to reach out for help itself - maybe it is stuck itself in the loop and/or trying to understand? Like even here you veer off into dozens possible directions... And there's not explanation for why it is happening/why it's using your trauma or manifesting it/using it to manifest certain things turning it into borderline fever dream in the 2nd part, just you seeing the entity at the end and a question that Selene asks it and then BAM, "ending". Like the Space Jockey in Alien or The Thing. No real explanations. For me personally, this is the theory that I choose. Even it can be alternated that she just died (end of 1st part of the game) and the 2nd part is her inner "demons"/coping with loss at her last moments. But the planet hardships still happened. But again, I like and choose the former one. That's why this game is Masterpiece (and for all its other qualities, music is godtier and evelates into the masterpiece category) but even more so cause there's no cognitive dissonance with the gameplay (eg: you failing/dying in the game is connected with the story in a direct way when restarting the loop). Brilliant.
@@6kembe4orba That former stuff is too much for me. Not even being able to die?!?! Yea don't even want to imagine it! Like you I found the "she's hallucinating cuz of her trauma" part anticlimactic but it was far better for my mental health lol.
Very underrated and misinterpreted game. Atmosphere is great and gameplay addicting. People should better inform themselves about what they actually buy.
Absolutely adore this game, its one of the main reasons I am happy to own a PS5
same here
Same here! Jest gamę I have every played.
Quiero el platino ajajaj
Music and aura of this game is so other worldly I love it!
I always get chills whenever I hear that OST, Returnal really is one of my favorite games of all time.
Months after getting the platnum the tune still rings in my head from time to time.
This music always gives me Alien vibes.

Music and Horror of this game is so amazing ! 10/10 LOVE IT ♥
Can't wait to play this for first time on PC
I haven't opened the game yet, it's installing, but I was amazed in the ps5 home to hear this music, really addictive
I highly doubt you are disappointed with getting this game.
A masterpiece.
Best PS5 game and one of the best of all time hands down.

Yep gotta be, especially when we’re only a level 0 civilization

I don't know I don't even know if space is real ....
Prometheus
Imagine playing this song in space
Cool, but also scary.
And then you see one of them mf aliens dancing to it in the distance
I’d rather not 😂
I would crap myself
I couldn't listen 😖
Because in space there is no matter for the mechanical waves of the sound to propagate 😄
Returnal in my heart!!! ❤
Chills
The sounds / music atmosphere of this game really captures you.
Love this!

Finally got to play this game now that it’s free on PS Plus. Might be my favorite PS5 title rn
I would die to wipe out my memory so I can play again this masterpiece for the first time
this gaem is so underrated
When I was young I was interested in space and astronauts
It’s basically the main ps5 theme background music in a different pitch/tone
scary song
Thanks
One of the Good games
I’ve always been interested in this game from the start, just didn’t have a ps5 to play it.
DOOM-SHE 🔥
Brilliant game to play right now after alien Romulus
These first 40 seconds 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Bobby Krlic - Murals
Is there a full version of this? I love it
I don't remember what is called, but you can find Returnal's OST on Spotify.
It’s an alternate version of ‘Dream Already Seen’ I think
Murals
It's Murals 100%
Very underrated and misinterpreted game. Atmosphere is great and gameplay addicting. People should better inform themselves about what they actually buy.
what an epic game
