As much as it causes me pain, being a Hermit watcher, I actually love Meltdown. Sure, it can give you the lowest lows when your team ends up spawning next to an insanely good PvP team every...damn...time and getting wiped out in less than a minute. For example, MCC 30. My poor Aqua team with Impulse, Scar, 5upp and...someone who will not be named other than his new title "Dirtblock" was spawned next to the Red team with Sapnap, Hanna, Puffy and Jardon. Sapnap rolled them every...damn...time. Seriously, check the results on the wiki. Sapnap got about four(?) aces that game, and TWO of them were on Impulse and Scar's team. It could have been three of them, but Hanna managed to freeze Scar before Sapnap got him. But on the other hand, there are the highest of highs, like with Cyan during Pride24. That was mindblowing. Then there was Grian clutching like a madman (while screaming), pulling off a 1v4 in MCC 26. Then there was the time when that team of non-Minecrafters rocked everybody's world when they got a chance to play a game that was closer to what they were used to. Hopefully, the teams can get balanced for PvP even better as time goes on, so you don't have so many teams that will just crush your soul in any PvP out there, but for now, the trade-off is some awesome moments that I don't think you can really find in any other PvP game.
YUPPPPPPP MELTDOWN S TIER. I think it's the best game in all of the mc events but I'm still happy to see a fellow meltdown believer. Also if people don't like certain games because people are bad at it, there's a very simple solution...watch the good players lmao
the way that sky high used to be played made it one of my fav pvp games idk what changed but like pb4ish sky high just felt exciting and active for the most part, recently its been pretty slow/campier in general though
I like miner mania as no matter of your skill level you are contributing to your team, like the worst PvPer on your team will be able to chip the enemies health down and they can clutch up a round by sneaking into the enemies point and score a ton of points. And its very intense
As a bad pvp player sky battle is like unenjoyable for me I remember having this kill one player mission on mcci and I think I spent like 7 games on that
I personally agree with skyzone being in D tier, I think the idea was fun but it didn’t really play out well. I don’t agree with extraction being in s tier though. I did like it a little better when there was sword combat and while I do understand why you switched it to be more bow combat, I think that having it also have a sword (maybe not as strong of a sword) was fun. I really want to see more non minecraft players do sword combat. I do understand that most non minecrafters don’t know sword combat at all and might get destroyed but it is a minecraft event after all and it’s fun to see them figure out how to like time your hits and stuff. I also disagree with the sky games being low. I love the thought process behind the ideas of like sky skirmish and sky battle though. I think that if they had another point system rather than just survival and kills, it would be perfect and also, let’s get rid of of bridging and building in some of them like icarus in crown quest. Also some of the loot distribution isn’t really fair but that can be fixed by having less loot and more of the same things to make it fair for everyone. Overall I mostly agree, I just think that sky based semi looting pvp games could be made more friendly for beginners (no bridging) and also could be made more unique with like capture points or maybe having balloons in the air that you can shoot down with a slingshot (like acnh) to get points and some loot would be really cool. I do want to point out that skyzone was a good idea with the more beginner friendly approach by adding ziplines, I just think that the loot was too much and also sitting around for more than one minute wasn’t very fun. I also think that the end when the clusters would be gone and there would just be these grey boxes spread out everywhere was not very appealing and stuff. Lmk your thoughts on this tho!
I assume there will be similar rankings for movement and team games, and maybe a master video with all the games? All im gonna say is Meltdown, Sands of Time, and Blitz Hunt are simply better
I think guardians of the chamber and miner mania are underrated and I take lot of issues with ski high and sky skirmish being in the same tier sky skirmish is imo the worst event pvp game it’s laggy and always just underwhelming while sky high is a ok respectable pvp game. Edit: finished the video and I’m happy you bumped of guardians
id say you should do this for movement games as well even though a lot of them are similar, just makes the comparison even valid (ex. ace race vs. race vs. rapid racers vs. speedrun vs. racers)
My favorites are Miner Mania, Extraction, Temple Lockout, Survival Games, and Meltdown. These are like the goats of all pvp games in my opinion and should be played more! (pls we need more sg in mcc)
also i just wanna say i completely understand your issues with sg but its so hype and for instance if u cud just re que its such a cool game just not great for events
I really don’t like watching meltdown. I find it hard to figure out what’s happening, as the rooms tend to look too alike, the routes through them seem to be in circles; it’s just confusing to me. That might (maybe) be helped if I watched more of it, but I just don’t like it enough to try. (It’s the only game in MCC that I have this issue with, as an occasional viewer).

I’m so excited for this series! Good ranking too, I agree with almost all of it, but I’d put Battle in A tier. I loveee extraction
