I think an alternate tuning would be preferable as opposed to 5 capos. Sometimes I use 2 capos, but 5?
Capos are way more convenient and quick when there's an audience in front of you waiting for you to play
depends on how radical your alternate tuning has to be. don't want to spend all night on stage tuning your guitar.
