I love the scene at 2.22 where Ste's look changes from fear into defiance. He finally has confidence in himself, and Brendan does not like that. Brendan likes Ste petrified of him, with him calling all the shots. Ste says he has Noah, so Brendan must destroy Noah and Ste will crawl back.
Brendan is such an asssss. lol. And that dorky, half-laugh thing he does is brilliant. The mindgames he plays are masterful and disgusting but he's so hilariously entertaining that you can't NOT root for him. Poor Ste...Just when he thought he was finally getting free of the insanity, the crazy train comes barrelling down on him once again at full-speed.
I just realized something....the reason ste keeps going back to Brendan is because he understands him better than anyone. Ste knows why Brendan is abusive because he was the same way, maybe still is (just no longer abusive. However hitting someone over the head with a bat...). Who else can love someone with as huge as a character flaw as Brendan's if not someone who has it themselves. Anyway this gives me hope, if Ste can be redeemed than so can Brendan...im mean come on its a freaking Soap.

Would have liked something sexy to happen, like in Ste's dream, but it was not to be. Brendan doesn't have enough to do, lol, and Ste is too big a priority for him. Just like we like it.

But how does Ste get out of having lied to Noah about getting some good lovin from Bren last week? They end up still going out TOGETHER that very night right? And if I could just distantly speculate for a sec, I think something horrible and deadly might have to happen to Ste to put it all into perspective for Bren. Let's hope that works.
At this moment I'm sad to observe that Brendan loves the game (a lot) more than he loves Stephen..makes me doubt there will ever be a happy ending for Stendan.
yeah and btw people who thought that Brendan didn't beat up Ste last time or did it just to protect him and keep him stay away were completely wrong, he did beat him up and as we can see not to keep him away , i actually never had any illusions about it.

All of this talk that he is a better man than Brendan is kind of exaggerated because Ste would best the WOMAN who is the mother of his kid for no reason. But Brendan is hitting a GUY because he has actually had a lot of childhood trauma which includes abuse is more ways than just fighting. Which one sounds worse ?
