How is mechatronics branch in mit
So Mechatronics you should take it up if you’re interested in robotics or EVs. Last year there were 60 companies for placements. Highest CTC was 22. Lowest was 3.5. Avg was around 6-7.
how many people in cse related branches usually are able to maintain above a 9 gpa for the first two years?(rough percentage/number)
It’s tough to put this into numbers. But CSE is a branch where it is relatively easier to score compared to other branches.

I think you should weigh the options for yourself but you're safe for now as CCE is a good branch.
hi bhya i have two questions : how many chunk of your seniors do you think are doing extremely well from cce/IT branch and is it easy to focus more on coding if we do join cce /IT ??
Some of the best minds of college are from CCE and IT. They are wonderful branches and of course you can focus on coding

The definitions of average, topper etc. break down when u get to college. The one who succeeds in college is the one who is consistent. So even if you have to work hard, make sure you remain consistent.

Hey. CSE Fintech is not something I’m sure of. But IT is a good branch.

how are the placements of IT for 7.5 gpa?
7.5 above us surely a safe place to be but 8 above is preferred. Placements are sheer luck. Tons of luck with some skill of DSA. Might sound weird but it’s true.

I think you should choose what interests you most. Because electrical subjects will prove to be tough if you don’t enjoy them

I honestly think MIT would be a better choice. CCE is offered by my department itself and I know that it’s a fantastic course.

Your branch does not really matter much for masters. It's your portfolio that matters. CPS is a new branch with no batch that has yet graduated. So I cannot comment on the branch itself right now.
