A great piece of history or we can call Musical gem in process.. Plese listen to the tune again . The ending part is very beautiful but has not been included in the song I think. This shows again that the genius ocean of the BOSS could never dried up. Thank you Apf. Thank you RDB. We all are really RDicted fans of the BOSS.
I am just speechless right now..I was waiting for pancham Da's 1942 music sitting clips...thanks Vidhu vinod Chopra ji and adhbut pancham foundation for giving such a mesmerising memory for all pancham da fans...need more and more music sitting clips from 1942 a love story...please it's a request from all of pancham fans...
I am very much unfortunate that I never witnessed any musical scores of R D Burman live and till my death I will not forget this. Whenever I listen to his musical scores, I astonishingly noticed what a perfect ear he had in those days when the concept of sound engg. was just putting its first step. We are pround that we have two great maestro like S.D. Burman & R.D.Burman in our time.
I am fortunate I was present in two programs, one was at an early morning program of poila boishakh of 1972 at Rabindra Sarobor stadium,RD and Asha performed, but it was from distance because audiences sat at the gallery and second time in Netaji indoor stadium in March 1977 where great Kishore Kumar and many others (Runa Laila,Kavita Krishnamurthy etc.) performed.RD was also there on the stage and sang one or two song, narrated incidents behind creation quite a few of his songs. I was transferred to Bombay in 1990 and thought to meet him.He was not well and producers also betrayed him those days.My residence was at Mulund West and I used to travel to my office Worli in Tamilian group Contract Bus where three fellow Tamilian passengers were staunch RD fan like me.We planned to meet him but we could not. When RD breathed his last breath I did not want to go there.I left Bombay in 1995.
@@prabalparkrasi9585 You are so fortunate for getting to see him perform. Kudos. . A gentle request to say Mumbai and not Bombay. Its gazetted name like Kolkata instead of Calcutta OR Chennai in place of Madras. ❤ Thanks a ton for sharing your memory.

Pancham da requested Lata ji to sung the song. But Lata ji busy with live performance at America and Delhi. After death of r d burman Lata hi recorded the song. Kavita ji rehearsed the kuchh na koho song in 1992 by a different antora which is not released in r d burman's era.. but she recorded the song later with the original musician group of r d burman. This song is available in TH-cam also.
Pancham da to Vidhu : "Tu sala 6 maheenay se yeh gaana sun raha hai." (magr vidhu phir bhi variation ki depth nahi samjha) female version anthra was a gem piece but vidhu dropped that anthra and original singer Kavita after Lord Pancham's demise.... and by doing this the female version lost it's soul. *JanmDin ki haardhik shubh kaamnaaen Bhagwan...*
What an absolute gem this is. I am simply spellbound. If I close my eyes I can imagine myself sitting alongside pancham.

No he passed away and Lataji recorded as per VVC decision
