20 MIN Intense Core Workout | Bodyweight training | Glider or towel optional

  • This is an intense, energizing upper body and core workout that will help you develop better body awareness and torso stabilization for overall strength training which is VERY important since a weak core can impede fitness performance outcomes and may ultimately lead to injury or pain.
    This is also a great add-on workout for any cardio or strength session.
    There are 2 rounds of work: the first is bodyweight only while the second uses gliders and discs. You may wish to use gliders for both rounds or bodyweight only. Personalize the workout according to your needs, i.e., choose what best suits your specific fitness goals (but don't be afraid of a challenge 😉).
    ✦Format: : 45 sec work, 15 sec rest
    ✦Equipment: gliders or towel optional
    ✦Exercises include: alternating reaching push ups, reverse snow angels, bear crawl to plank jacks, pike walk to extended plank, wide to narrow push-up, alternating hamstring walk-in, reverse table top to plank jack, plank jack shoulder taps, Spiderman push-ups, mountain climbers
    ✷Modifications: plank on knees, push-ups on knees or elevated
