I never ceases to amaze me how well Hinterland captured the look and feel of a high mountain environment. This is by far the most gorgeous zone yet. Too bad the weather rarely lets you enjoy it. Also, I think the lack of trees is less to do with avalanches and more just above tree line.
All the nooks and crannies that lead to everywhere in this zone are unreal. Been thinking of all the places you've already been and making a map in my own brain. I think hinterland would put the entrance somewhere unique to the zone or hidden in plain sight. You should go back to the two story house and raid it for wood and cloth!
For once I am resisting looking at a map because the fun of learning the zone is one of the best things in TLD and I dont want to lose that joy/frustration
I haven't touched more than the road between the Zone Entrance from Transfer Pass to the Avalanche Cabin A...so I have no idea how to get there. But if you're open to a suggestion...I think I might have one.

He's so close, folks. He's going to find the path. I can feel it.
Local man slaughters wildlife, refuses to elaborate, drinks coffee.

He’ll get there eventually. A lot of the fun is watching him struggle to figure it out on his own.
