The "stop snitching" moniker was a much bigger issue than expected. Snitching to me is when an individual does dirt with people and rats them out to protect themselves. When you are a victim of crime or a witness to it you aren't a snitch. You need to get rid of the criminals and protect the innocent, protecting your people isn't snitching. Here is what I was taught what snitching is and what it is not . Snitching is selling someone's personal information or dirt for personal gain. This has nothing to do with preventing a crime or stopping a crime it's straight up selling information to people of authority so YOu may benefit. Example of snitching .a coworker who saw u enter work 5 minutes late, however your lateness did not affect business n this co-workers tells the manager he saw you rock up late thy want to benefit from that information i e. Promotion or salary increase etc.. biblical example (When Judas sold out Jesus scenario is a classic case of snitching) now people who report n honest crime and are stopping rape or house breaking knowing you a hard working citizen that's not a snitch ... A rat is a another form of a snitch, basically someone who participate in a crime, gets caught. n then tells the police incriminating evidence of other people's crime so they can get a lesser sentence either way they benefiting . Another "snitch" element is when someone is straight up hating and is on a smear campaign against you because they jealous you making money etc..they spread old rumours to keep you from moving forward which is usually half cooked (gossip) information but they do that evil shit for personal gain. Some who reports you to the police with falsified information (half baked or half truth information) is a snitch too the tattle so as to get you in trouble ...well it's what I was taught

Now I ask, if you are a regular civilian and do not participate or affiliate with gang culture.. Is it still snitching? Personally, I think civilians cant snitch because they are not assets to whatever crime happened.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm no expert on "gang" culture. However, informing on anyone about anything is "snitching"...
whether you're in a "gang" or just a tax paying citizen, giving incriminating evidence to the authorities about someone is absolutely "snitching"... Don't let these 2 fools tell you informing someone isn't because, whether you're in a "gang" or just a regular dude, you can get killed.
