Awesome video! I can't wait for Quail season in Az this year! I only hunt Gambles in Central Az. I can't afford a dog and I can't afford to hire a guide. It's just me against the birds. I love matching whits with them. The limit for Gambles is 15 per day. Hard to do without a dog. Usually if I get a few I'm calling victory! It is some fun challenging hunting. Last year's opener was an exception. I was able to bag 10 birds in a morning. That was a hunt of a lifetime!
We have been hunting Gamble Quail all our lives in New Mexico and Arizona. We are setting up camp in Southern AZ this week. I hope it is as good as last year. We had 10 hunters and took the limit almost every day for 2 weeks. I hope it's as good this year. We don't use dogs. We always have a lot of fun around the campfire anyway.

Born and raised in Arizona and if you get a guide who will guarantee all 3 species in a day, you're on to something. border2border can get it done.
What kind of shotgun were you using
not sure how i feel about guides shooting, especially when they are getting more birds than the client 🧐
