New Safety and Convenience Technologies
SUV buyers do not want to compromise when it comes to protecting their passengers, so Hyundai has expanded its safety technologies on the 2023 Palisade, with rear side-impact airbags as standard equipment to help provide additional occupant protection. Its generous suite of advanced driver assistance systems includes many innovative technologies, including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Safe Exit Assist, Driver Attention Warning, High Beam Assist, Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control, Lane Following Assist, Highway Driving Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist and Remote Smart Parking Assist.
I HAVE MINE. GOT IT AUGUST 30TH AND I'M ABSOLUTELY THRILLED. Decided to go with white, you can see so many details and it really pops. I'm going to also tint and wrap the roof to give it a sportier more exotic look. Took it on a long road trip over the holiday weekend and it performed like a dream. Also got the Android touch screens for the kiddos to really get the most out of it. It's truly a family vehicle with style function and features. Love it
Awesome! My mom has one she just got in from the dealer. Going to pick it up Monday with her. She’s ecstatic. I test drove it with her and she didn’t drive (she had a few margaritas hahah) and I will say…I’ve driven some pretty high end, nice cars…(bmw, audi, Mercedes etc) and this pallisade is right up there with them for an overall driving experience in my opinion. I’m really happy for her. And you!! Cheers!!!

Just picked up my 2023 Calligraphy 2 days ago. Of course, I got sick and haven't been able to delve in yet lol. Have to say, so far(and it's after only a short drive, so it probably will change),I prefer the feel of the '21 Calligraphy. The '23 just seemed to drive "heavier", if that makes sense. The one thing I HATE is the haptic sensor controls for the AC/heat, over the dedicated buttons. I'm sure I'll fall in love with it, the more I drive it though.

It drives itself. Parks itself. Looks great. Smells great. Drives great. It's a luxury vehicle with all the features without the high end luxury price. 3 rows of lux and it just looks sexy

What is the sticker price for the calligraphy.
We actually used remote smart park assist yesterday for the first time… Someone parked next to us very close and we backed up the Palisade to be able to get in easily

@@vinnysdiecast8298 no. They were on the drivers side of my car so I think they either didn’t have a passenger or let them out before they parked.
why does no one talk about the poor volume quality from the harman kardon in the 2023 calligraphy volume has to be at 40 to get what others give at 10 or 15 level.

If any of the parking sensors fail, Smart Park is useless. And the parking sensors fail often. And it costs a fortune to replace them.
How about the wind noise problem?
Wind noise is the least of your problem if you have a luxury car this cheap. It's a very good bargain already. Why can't people be content..
So my only question is from what trim all the way up to what trim does that feature come on
If I have a curved driveway will the remote pull the car out of the garage and turn around the driveway or just continue strieght out off the driveway?

I could not get the digital key to work on the Apple Watch. Kept getting an error message.
I've visited my local Hyundai twice and test drove the SEL and Limited. Both drove just as smooth as my X5. I'm just not feeling the rear tail lights which are the only reasons I'm yet to buy one.
I love the iPhone e-key feature but it makes your car more vulnerable to auto theft if your iPhone is stolen or compromised

Car manufacturers really don't have a great track record with digital technologies. Pretty sure there will be security loopholes in all of these wireless technologies that will get discover and may be even exploited in the next year or two.

I've always bought white or black(mainly black) but I went with the Typhoon Silver. It's sharp AF. Still not used to it lol. I look in garage and forget the silver car is my car.

So is Hyundai planning a V6 turbo engine option for the Palisade in the future? Not everyone can afford nearly $80k for a prestige GV80 which has less interior space than the Palisade.

I just mine and I have yet to see the feature that other less expensive vehicles have that alert you when you've left your keys in the car and when the car locks automatically after you walk away. I've been through the entire manual and don't see anything about it. If it doesn't have those features at this price point, it's very disappointing.

All this tech and you talk about the garage, but yet, no power folding mirrors. A massive massive oversight for a flagship. Personally, that is a reason I would not buy. You should not have to buy a Genesis if you want this option. Of course, you buy a Genesis and good luck getting it serviced in any given city.

Hyundai is very late implementing these "new features" . 6 yrs old Model X already have a better features and constantly being upgraded over the air. Copy cat should be sued

Love the palisade. Was set on buying one the past year but decided we don't need 2 more seats. Kids are grown. 15k more for the palisade.... So we got the Sanata Limited and it has ALL of these same tech features. Just in case anyone wants to know. We originally thought if we didnt get the palisade we'd miss out on these features. The salesman didn't even tell us it had the digital key' rear occupant alert, etc... Plus the rear seat space and trunk space are really large for a car.
Yeah. I think their 2021 Santa Fe had it before they rolled it out in the other cars.
