One thing i have learnt from your story different from what we have always been told ,is that you can succeed on anything you choose..you were passionate about law but you took accounting and you did well in it ,you chose to seek opportunities and learn at every stage...This was good narration
This story was inspiring and uplifting for me, I was feeling down as my mother just passed away. So I went online looking for a distraction from my misery as I truly miss my mother. While browsing here came across this video and glad that I did. I love the way Edwin tells his story as his sincerity and genuineness comes across easily. Next time I am in Kenya I will drop by their office, Ali Abdirahman
Its-Ali hey Ali sorry for your loss. Am actually in the same boat , just lost my dear mom .. looking for a distraction as well. Praying we get through this with the Almightys help
finally seeing the human side of this investment supremo. My story is nearly similar, but I went to Europe instead. I'd like to have a beer with this guy
"There are always challenges. The difference on whether you'll succeed or not are not the opportunities that you get but how you deal with the challenges that confront you."
This is such an inspiring story! It’s very challenging to get to where you want to be but what I’ve learnt from your story is always face your challenges as they come instead of running away from them.
Am I the only one who felt this story is stretched to appeal to an empathetic story side of things. This man literally had an above-par life as compared to others. I am not asking for a downplay of his achievements, but you don't always need to overstretch your failures to create a success story. I think we should start appreciating 'okay' stories
And that is his story. Whichever way you look at it, everyone tells their story from their own perspective. Take a lead with your okay story, and hopefully you will inspire others to tell theirs or start appreciating “okay” stories.
@Carolinen100 As a Westerner, let me tell eating like a Westerner is not healthy for you and comes with health consequences. Processed and genetically engineered shit. What your ancestors were doing was the right way of life.
Mmmmh, I'm not here to judge but anyone who was following that britam issue clearly knows that something was wrong when you guys left, it's finances and investments started nose diving and their investors felt it! But hey, like i said whom I'm i to judge? I mean see where you guys are right now? CYTON.. daaaamn! Is it not the hand of the Almighty and your hard work?
Engage Talk should take down videos of Edwin Dande considering his recent fraud cases otherwise the Engage Talk brand might be tainted for putting conmen on a pedestal and making them success gurus.
One thing ive learnt is to never ever fall for hero stories. His life path is depicted by poverty but a largest than life ego. Guess what, his lost over 10+ b of investors money. Conman

I think the work life and running a business ever with suits was quite on challenges. Many could give up and go home and he didnt.
