Interesting bus, seems very similar to the Daf MB200, which the most common type of citybus in the 70s and 80s in Holland. The Daf engine is derived from a leyland engine, and the Wilson gearbox was used too. Look for 'vijverhut discobus' in youtube for a video of one.
sounds great....I restore the pneumatic pedestal gear shifters for these types of buses but not this style of shifter,I've been looking for one out of this type or one out of a royal tiger world master 57.very hard to find.I'm in the process of remaking parts for the pedestal version...castings,rubber boots,rubber gaskets,and a few other things soon.how do you go in getting parts where you are? I've posted a video of my Leyland bus gear shifter air test.and.some of the casting process of the H pattern gate great fun and yes brings back good memories...hope to have some stock in the near future...
I do have 2 brand new complete fully restored gear shifters with new gaskets fitted off the leopards and the Atlanteans up for sale if you know anyone who is looking, thanks.
