Bro I can’t believe he did that to wade. I watch the entire thing. you literally can’t come to his side he guards half the court him and Duncan pick and roll defense is the best I ever seen. Imagine kawhi offense know and this defense lord have mercy
Prime Kawhi before the quad injuries was an absolute monster on both ends each night of the season. It is such a shame that the speculated degenerative injury that he has, ultimately has cost him a decade-long prime of being arguably the best player in the game.
@@jay-bshighlightsandmixtapeI agree, imo he went from top 3 (2016)to number 1 (2019)to not even being mentioned in nba gossip… injuries have dealt a blow on a lot of good players. T mac. Grant hill etc…at least he got 2 rings tho

Glad you liked it man! Probably going to be a drop in Kawhi stuff from here on in as I focus on other award winners and season leaders, but he is such an effortless player to watch that it makes for quite easy viewing and doesn't ever feel like you are watching a long video. Hopefully we see a few more good runs out of him before he calls time on his career.
Glad you enjoyed it! Kawhi back then was so effortless in his play. Really built a solid foundation to be the man in the league but he has never been the same player since his ankle injury in the 2017 playoffs.
Appreciate it! I am doing it mainly for my own resources, but I know there are thousands of people like me out there that are just as keen to have resources like this at their fingertips.
People forget just how good he was. 6'7, length, size, the ability to transition both sides of the ball with ease a major effectiveness. For the league, it is probably lucky that by thius point the "Big Three" were old and past their peaks. This Spurs team would have run the table for a while.
Man to be honest I think Dennis Rodman would have been the same type of player for more versatile but Kawhi Leonard man is one of the best man he might be the best perimeter defender of all time
The only issue I have with that statement on Kawhi is the limited sample size. He was an all-time elite player at his peak, but it was almost too brief.
Hands everywhere. No where near him is safe to shoot or pass. From around 2014 to 2022, you didn't even call pick and rolls against Kawhi if he was guarding the roller. PGs would wave that off angrily when their guy brought Kawhi to their dribble.
Pretty much. Kawhi reached that level of controlling the game without the ball on both ends that hadn't been seen since LeBron's zenith from 08/09 to 12/13.
Sayang ang laro mo idol lipat kna ng ibang team Iwan muna Yan Westbrook nyan pg at harden mga walang deskarte Yan maganda p ang laro ni terance Mann at Norman Powell,
It's a tough situation for the Clippers with Harden and Westbrook. Just think that they're trying too hard to load up with pieces that don't fit the puzzle.

For sure! I think he sits with Bill Walton as far as guys who were "What If?" but still achieved championship heights as the main guy.

Honestly one of the best DPOY of all time.
One of the last great two-way runs the league has seen.
那几年马刺,是最完美的球队,攻防均衡。
I just love him no matter what period
It is just a shame that he has never had the chance to be fully fit for a real extended period.
Absolutely majestic. Great video. Long and I couldn't feel it
I've felt the same with some of the ones I have made as well, which is always a bonus. Glad you enjoyed it.
Great vid bro , kawhi my favorite player too, keep it up❤
(More kawhi vids plz )

Surprise surprise I watched the entire video, not missing a second ❤😂

A whole hour of straight defense, I love it

Thank you for your service bro
Just trying to help those of us with a history bug and educate the masses.
40:31 camelo saids “isol isol!” And his shot is block by leonard is crazy

He was number one already
Had a 3-year run where he could claim he was the best player on the planet.
Great video 👏🏾
Thanks for watching, good to see you're enjoying the content.

Just a shame that injuries cost him the most productive period of his career.
Legitimately one of the greatest two way seasons ever
Honestly, his run through those 3 years is simply forgotten because of Steph, LeBron, Westbrook etc.
This was the year teams were forced to put their stars on the corner and let the rest of the team play 4v4
Pretty much. Kawhi reached that level of controlling the game without the ball on both ends that hadn't been seen since LeBron's zenith from 08/09 to 12/13.

Dude was just on during this period.
35:47 prime haden really got no answers from kawaii
Kawhi was on another level from the start of the 2014 NBA Finals through to turning his ankle against the warriors.
I still remember the Bulls play where they isolate Jimmy and Kawhi so that the others can 4v4 without Kawhi disrupting the Bulls offense lmao
Not only does that speak of his physical ability on that end of the floor but the extremely high IQ on the defensive side of the ball.
Paka dali lang mang agaw ng bola nito ni kawhi
His hands alone show he was born to be a defensive monster.
He is the best

Man holding Draymond's trophy
Have to disagree there. Dude was a beast during this time.
