Cheng Xiao is incredible! Nobody noticed she twist/cracked her foot. Not one inch did she flinch she was uncomfortable or had pain. She was so fully immersed with her dance and role. That level of perseverance and perfectionism is something I haven’t seen before. I have the deepest respect for her. From now I will look at her differently ❤

Same with athletes. I had a classmate in highschool. Talented basketball player. He made it in a g league team in his second tryout. Little did we know he was injured shortly before the tryout. Found out he was kicked out before his first season because of an injury, forgot what it's called but it's in his knee. Had surgery but it was too late because he had no money and the team wasn't covering it because he acquired the injury before he was signed. Had he rested for a few months, he could have made it to the NBA

It’s part of the show plot because if she was injured, they would have removed her from the show plus they always have a medical staff stand by for emergency. medical assistance. Why would another dancer will have decision to check on dancer’s injury.

Santa was the first to check because he’s a professional dancer with a world title, so more so than a random medic on the team, he’s more likely to recognize certain injuries and the immediate care needed, then she gets handed off to the doctors and sent to the hospital.

You just can't dance like that or even do simple weight bearing activities like walking if you had a fracture. Even more your foot will not fracture with a simple jump like this, the most dangerous thing that can happen in this situation is a torn ligament. This is not even a ligament injury. Probably she sprained her ankle and definitely her foot wasn't swollen that much. The redness and weird texture is from constant massaging and ointment that were applied.
