everyone should at a video of their shot. i found that when I 1-2 step into a long 2 or 3 point shot, most of the up force is generated from my right leg instead of both legs. and shooting in a street court, I always have a habit of walking forward to pick up my ball immediately after I shoot. So I end up 1-2 step into my jumpshot, jumping with my right leg, and walk forward immediately and look like a little walking shot...and I found that a lot of people are doing exactly the same when they shoot the long ball out there, and I never realized I did this. When I tried to be awared and jump off both feet in balance, it actually feels strange. So yea filming yourself helps a lot, dont focus too much on whether you make the shot or not, focus on the mechanics.
