Great little review Evan. We have so many resources available to us here in America that this review helps to narrow down our choices. A good Bible dictionary is as important as a good Bible concordance for someone really wanting to dig deeper into Gods Word.

I have this one and appreciate it for the size and price. As a former Bible college student, I wish it was more comprehensive. I picked this up hoping for a simple Bible dictionary that my kids might feel less intimidated to crack open.
For a new believer, this can be an invaluable tool. Get this and the Rose Book of Bible Charts, Maps and Timelines and you have a pretty solid start to understanding the Bible. I'd add commentaries right after.

Holman Illustrated Bible Dictionary and Unger's Bible Dictionary are the most comprehensive on the market. This one here is very condensed, but adequate for the new studier.

For its size and portability, yes. For comprehensiveness, it's good, but there are better options. Don't let the word "Ultimate" deceive you.
