I've met him a number of times because my sister and her husband are great friends of his in Calif. He is very down to earth, humble and full of information about music. It's a pleasure to know him. He is the BEST!!!
Gregg is one of the all time greats. Always play the song. Always deep pocket. Only heard him live once with Toto and it was amazing. Wish he would come to the south of Sweden or Denmark soon
Just want to point out that Gregg is really a lot lot more than a Ringo wannabe. He plays all the other stars songs with feel and respect for the original. He has a huge collection of work and collaborations in his resume, just a great great drummer
My son attended a drum clinic of Greg's in Kansas City 2004 ish.. Great experience! Gregg truly is talented and such a great man. 😊 Looking forward to seeing the Ringo All Star Band 2023!! 🎉
The way they both swing and rock is incomparable....the deepest pockets and groove....the way they both listen to the song and play accordingly....Astounding!!!!!
I seen Greg at sight and sound music store in Muncie Indiana. Playing oak Mapex drums. He was playing in the parking lot. He was playing a tribute to Ringo, the way Ringo would choose to play.Because Ringo is left handed. Got to talk to Greg about turning and drum heads. Greg was endorsed by Mapex drums.
Just saw Ringo and I wasn't aware of Greg until tonight. That was one of the best and exciting drum solos I have ever heard. My question though...Is that Painkiller near the beginning?
Greg is an amazing drummer and I grew up listening to the Beatles and I think ringo was the trend setter on playing drums with the song sometimes when I playing drums out and trying to play like ringo on a Beatles song not happening 😮
I won't bow to god because I don't believe in god but I'll bow to anyone as high up as Gregg Bissonette who tips his hat to not only Ringo Starr, but also John Bonham and Alex Van Halen, just to name a few.

Gregg can play anything, but ALWAYS does what is right for the song....I guess you've made it when you get a call from Ringo

Greg’s such a fantastic musician and an absolute top human being 🤗
you couldn't have someone better than gregg for this. He's the most assertive guy for the job
Could watch Ringo and Gregg double drum all day

Looking forward to seeing the band in October! 👍
Greg's solo....why didn't anyone else ever think of this before!!?? Wonderful!
Gregg got him a lil bit of Rush and a bit of Van Halen in that solo. He can play anything from Big Band Jazz to heavy metal with equal greatness. 👍🔥
Rockin' some Stewart Copeland in those last few minutes. Greg is just a drum fanboy at heart.

Beautiful!!!
Love Gregg! Love Ringo!
Thank you Gregg for becoming our drum ambassador to the world after our beloved Neil Peart had passed on.❤
Greg must have the patience of a saint.
Gregg Rules💙💙💙💙💙
Great, great, great. Couldn’t stop smiling
Gregg is fantastic...Ringo is a wonder...still in the pocket!
Amazing drummer and an amazing guy!
If I were him, I would constantly be thinking: I'm playing drums right next to Ringo Starr, the drummer for the Beatles!
You think MD could get better audio of Greg than a fuzzed out phone vid
Times are tough. Putin not only controls the price of gas and food for the entire world, he also controls audio quality at venues.
That was fun.

DLR band was ALL STAR
I’m glad Skippy Skuffleton aka Gregg survived his stint with Spinal Tap all those years ago.
7:36 Alright Gregg....I enjoyed that just a little too much....lol
Did anybody catch the sniglet in Gregg's drum solo of the drum part from YYZ by Rush....!!
yep
Gregg and Ringo makes a Gringo😅!
Killlllerrrrr
Manic Depression his first lick?
Yup. Cool, huh?
04:16 on genius
Is that Johnny Winter on drums?
I never knew that that's him on the recording.
Цитирование Дона Брюэра, Джона Бонэма и Ринго - отлично! Грегг любит похулиганить.
No way Gregg can get those sounds out of such a small kit😅
gregg is literally one of my drum gods since “live from san fran”, but the chin diaper on stage “literally” took him down a few notches
Ya that’s a great reason.
If you gotta go, you gotta go.
Seriously?
I do hope you’re kidding.
Nice mask
Deplorable...😂😂😂👆😘 the game is ower...😂😂🤫 jesus...
Greg why are you always wearing that mask on your chin? Are you going to catch COVID from the drums? 😂

Ringo bingo bongo bish bosh bash ...if his talent was as big as his nose....then he'd be a half decent drummer.
One of the dumbest comments I ever read.
That sounds awful... My kids sound better than that, playing covers. They are 5 and 7.
Sure Jan.
Troll
Sure, I believe you 🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓
