She's singing at Trumpets Jazz Club in Monclair, NJ...Nice! Friday, December 29 at 8 PM - 11 PM had to check her out here. Lovely. Nice Singer...a Real Singer!!!
Just a fantastic performance! When the camera panned over the first few rows of seats, there so many empty seats. What's up with that? The place, wherever it was, should've been packed! Anyway, at least 81 (as of today) of us would've enjoyed being there. Definitely added to my "favorites" list. Thank you, Roseanna.
Dear Roseanna, I heard you in a club in New-York on one of my visits there (1981? 1992 ?). You were singing as a duet with Harvey Schwartz on bass (I can't remember if there was a drummer (Bob Moses ?) and scat-soloing as easily as if you were playing a horn. I truly think it was the best vocal performance I have heard. Hearing you here with this great band brings back those memories ! You are my favorite vocalist. Cheers !
Hey Don, I was supposed to wait a bar (4 beats) after the break to come in and it was so exciting, I felt like I was being shot out of a rocket. This is a great band- love Mark Soskin, Dean Johnson and Tim Horner...
Hey Martin- yes in the live video it’s always stated Mark Soskin on piano. Maybe someone got confused because Kenny Werner played on “Live at the Kennedy Center” cd version of this song. Mark, whom I dearly love is on 3 of my last recordings before the “Sing A Song of Bird” cd. Best XRo
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! smokin is not even the word. You go on ahead, sister woman!
FANTASTIC!!! All the way around, you've got it goin' on, Roseanna! And what a great trio!
Love those basslines!! Great performance Roseanna, thanks for posting.
YEAH!!!...Swingin"!! I am enjoying this with my morning coffee
Pure joy!! Love this version, Roseanna XO

I love live music. She came in late and they charged right through it like nothing happened.

Very Good!!
go ahead, sister!
I think it's Mark Soskin on piano, not Kenny Werner, as the title suggests.
