This video was extremely helpful. The nuances of a language are very important and (I believe) are make or break in being understood. One simply cannot "map English" onto another language. This reminds me a bit of when I learned German and the difference between "I studied ..." and "I learned ..." a something or some topic is enormous. When speaking English one would say "I majored in...." to indicate one's major and Academic history, but in German one can say "I majored in ...", but more commonly one would say "I studied ..." to indicate one's major and Academic history. In German if one says "I studied ..." instead of "I learned ..." for additional things that were not one's major, the German speakers are quickly confused and even think you have lied about your major and Academic history. Thank you so much for this video and really if there are other such nuances in Japanese that differ from English or other languages, such instructional videos are extremely helpful and appreciated.
Thank you very much for watching my video😊 Yes, indeed, these tiny little things can change the impression a lot! You can find a playlist in my account “Similar Words”. The videos might help you understand the difference between other words that are similar too!👌🏻✨
Thank you for watching! I started posting my beginners collections since last Friday (every week on Friday), and this allows you to learn Japanese from 0. I think you know more already, but if you want to review your basics, I hope it’ll help too😊
Best format ever for very productive and enjoyable short learning sessions. Please keep it on! 👏🙏😃
Thank you very much for watching! I’m happy to hear that😊
