Dan Heng IL has been the character I’ve been waiting for since launch so I’m defo going for him, but if I have any Jades left after this I’m gonna try for Fu Xuan cause her and Lynx both look really good
im 70/90 in my pity rn and i have 20 pulls exactly saved up for Dan, i failed my pitty on seele and stoped playing around mind Jing yuan's banner for some time (reget missing lu but its fine i have a good healer alr in bailu) so im 100% getting IL without a doubt. if this patch gives me a ton of jades back ill save and hear out as im always looking for something to replace my fire mc
I actually got a lot of defensive units: Bailu, Gepard, Luocha and E6 Natasha. I dont have a 5 star Offensive unit except Himeko but she sucks. So I am aiming to get IL Dan Heng.
This is really a difficult one. I definitely love defensive supports but I already have Gepard and Luocha. I have Welt although not built for DPS, he can still do decent damage. IL looks so cool with the water dragon and would fulfill the need for a Imaginary DPS for my teams (i have more supports than DPS). But I’m also really lacking an Ice DPS too so I’m really wanting Jingliu.
I feel like I'm in the minority of not caring so much for Seele design and skipped her. Dan Heng IL looks sick so he's an easy pull for me, him dealing cool dmg is a nice bonus.
I skipped every banner until kafka. Seele looks so boring to me and I knew I would get very bored with her. Everyone I know that pulled her regrets it.
Same here. Dan Heng IL just looks amazing and I'm a big fan of the dragon. I started playing during Jing Yuan's banner so I didn't have a chance to get Seele. My only dps rn are Clara and Jing Yuan. I have Luocha and Bailu so for my situation a dps like IL would benefit me more. Plus I have Yukong E3 rn, hoping to get E6 on his banner
@@Thunderdroceon IL will only get better when Hanabi comes out because she gives tons of skill points for him. With her and another harmony Biffer IL may be able to kill bosses without even needing to worry about breaking them.
@@Thunderdroceon that's the thing you get to run danheng IL with luocha, clara and flex like yukong, and then you get to run a second team with seele bailu then either bronya/asta and tingyun, i honestly don't get the disadvantage in pulling for seele, she always have a place when you have 2 DPS, in fact, i'm struggling even with seele because my DMG is not enough and with danheng + seele that will be solved.
In my opinion Fu Xuan gives more "potential" for hard contents, because of her kit which helps the dps play more safely and be more active (and in some cases you won't need a healer), but if you have Luocha her values drops significantly (in moc she maintain her value because you can use her in the other team). Dan Heng will be very good for people who didn't pull for a lot of the broken dps characters or Silver Wolf, since he is a IMG dps, but in my case for example i don't really need the IMG coverage because i did pull for Silver Wolf (i can use any element and be ok), Jing and Blade. So my pulls will go towards Fu Xuan and Lynx (who will be in my opinion one of the best healers for Blade because of the aggro she provides)
Imo, you should work toward having a DPS for every element. It just makes the game much easier. Though, Fu Xuan should be a must pull if you are missing 1 of the two between Gepard and Luocha.
yeah, but that 4 star quantum is also coming, she's damn broken, she might be better than bailu, with nathasha and her you technically do have enough CC, however yup if you have luocha you're pretty much done, luocha and the 4 star healer if you manage to get her then ye she looses a bit of value
@@NFYT so far mono quantum is jack of all trades, it got everything you need but excel at none. They have multi role. Except seele who are only have one role the best dps right now. SW = 50% nihility 50% the hunt Qinque = 50% erudition 50% the hunt Fuxuan = 50% perservation 50% abundance Lynx = 50% abundance 50% harmony And with SW any enemy toughness can be broken. Theoretically this team can face any content in HSR regardless of enemy type.
@@atamumu.breakfast2807 yeah i agree with that despite not being that good for certain contents unlike other teams its actually an all round good team, however to me is actually "slap most broken stuff, it will work", an argument can be made that this team leaves no room for improvement in a second team, because you're literally running all top tier units on a mid team when you could share all those insane supports in 2 teams, by example lynx, she's really synergystic with clara, however if you slap her on mono quantum you'll just leave the worse options for clara, same with SW if you have a second chamber with no good element built on your units. I think is good if you're fighting overworld and simulated universe overall, but for MoC is not as good as people make it out to be, yeah, you have this insane all round team, then your second team barely has any options because those units are so demanding, quantum is meta in any case, i don't see why because of it slap your strongest units in a single team, it's better to balance them out in 2 teams, if the enemy is already weak to quantum, why put silver wolf instead of slapping her in other team, or if you have a clara, why not put lynx with her, and the list goes on. the more units there are in the game the better it will be, as for now is a really greedy team and we don't have all that much units in the game. At least until we get that guaranteed standard 5 star unit so pretty much EVERYONE can get their guaranteed bronya and have a really solid buffing option for their team, before that is not that good for this early in the game ngl.

@SomaStory That's the thing, sustain units powercreep is less prominent than DPS units. Therefore, the 2 tank you get, even tho they will get powercreep by the new unit, STILL SOLO SUSTAINS THE TEAM.
@@SomaStory so luocha in a nutshell, in all honesty though, right now DPS are much more important than any tank unit at least until a lot of versions, if you have 2 (bailu and natasha, bailu and gepard, bailu and luocha, luocha and gepard, or all of them), your needs for a tank or a healer won't come in a REALLY long time because, at high investment ALL of these units will be able to heal/protect your entire party. Look at luocha, despite he's that good, you really didn't needed him as long as you had bailu and natasha, even when, he's MILES better than both of them, with the proper investment on your healers all of them will do a good job, most of them even have overhealing when max invested with speed and energy recharge that, and also there's a 4 star quantum unit that heals and cleanses (and her dmg scales out of HP), so yea, defensive units are pretty much done)
Well if you don't have luocha you really need fu xuan. Just my opinion though. And yes her LC is good, but her F2P LC on herta's store is very great. She' basically immortal if you have that.
I'm pretty positive im going to Fu Xuan also I have Seele so I can ideally have mono quantum as an option. it's also great Lynx is on the banner so it feels like a win-win
mono teams are overrated asf, you don't really need them all that much, look at mono quantum, you have 2 defensive units already, you already have overhealing, in a slot where you could've put a bronya, or a tingyun, or whoever else, while in mono imaginary teams you have IL danheng (already a SP hungry unit), you're gonna pair him with Welt which is also an unit that is not that great subdps when you could've put a blade who is a great skill point efficient dmg dealer or you could've put a buffing unit like tingyun or bronya (with BiS weapon and with a lot of ER she's not that SP hungry while buffing THAT much your danheng) So yea in conclusion is just better to play the synergies mono teams don't fall up just beacuse of silver wolf, they aren't really all that versatile and most of them are even overkill for the shield because as long as you have 2 units that break shield fine you'll constantly break them anyways.
@@NFYT mono quantum will save a lot of headache for me personally because silver wolf's weakness implant is not split into percentages based on the number of teammates you have in a particular element. For example, even if I have a team with 3 electro (Kafka, Tingyun and bailu for example), the chance of silver wolf applying weaknesses is split between electro and quantum in a 50/50 chance (so it's not 75% chance to apply electro weakness like i first thought). Having a mono quantum team guarantees that I will have a weakness implant for my Seele (which is a LOT because she deals more damage to quantum weak enemies with her relics, and the weakness applied element is also debuffed by SW). In regards to team building, I heard that Fu xuan would not really be able to solo sustain (not sure on that yet) so having a healer is still a very comfortortable option (Lynx, who is also in the banner) - if she can be run as solo sustain, then it's very nice as well because you can now run a buffer - but the point is that you can still probably run Lynx as a very comfortable pick on one side. So my plan is just to run SW, Seele, Lynx, and Fu xuan on one side, and run the other with whatever is good for that side. And because it is run with full Quantum teammates, then whatever content comes out will always be comfortable to play against (and prevent me from the spree of applying the incorrect weakness that I always seem to run into). I do agree though that most mono teams just make my eye roll! Just that this specific team will let me have fun with seele no matter what comes out in MOC.
I already have Seele, YJ, Blade & Yanqing but will still pull for IL. His design is too good to skip. If I didn't like his design, I'd go for FX (mainly for Lynx) because she enables Blade even more and she has a teamwide cleanse. On the other hand, I already have Luocha and Bailu so I don't *really* need FX either. I shouldn't pull for either if I played solely for efficiency.
My situation is exactly like yours lolololol, I want to pull FX because I think she looks cool, I want her for blade, and also want lynx as well, but I already have bailu and luocha 😂😂😂
I think I'm at the point where I don't need to pull anyone since I can 30* MoC with different teams. Having said that I will pull for IL as I like to have different dps coverage, FX would also make things more comfy but as you have said "dealing 1 million dmg is more fun". Who knows, maybe they will make the game so hard that FX is mandatory and I'll regret skipping FX!
I have Luocha and Bailu, but I'm getting really sick of Bailu not having a cleanse and her healing with her skill being semi-random. The Invigoration is great and all, but she just doesn't feel great to use. So I might try to get Fu, if only to complete mono-Quantum. Daniël is a must for me though so we'll see how it goes.
For damage dealers I have Blade, Clara, Kafka (and Luka/Samp for her DOT team, though they're only e0), and e6 Qingque. For sustains I have only Luocha and Natasha (fire trailblazer can't solo sustain right?). I think I might benefit more from Fu Xuan. It helps I also like the 4 stars on her banner more. Those Hook eidolons will help make another possible damage dealer I have even better and Lynx can straight up replace Natasha. Guess I'll be pulling on Fu Xuan's. I was going to anyways because I just like her though lol
One thing to keep in mind is that Hoyoverse tends to set up the MoC to be favorable to the limited banner characters, so you'll probably see a lot of Imaginary enemies (alongside Quantum, which you have Qingque to handle). The upside of this however is if you notice, a lot of Imaginary Weak enemies also are Wind Weak, so chances are you can use Blade during IB Lunae's banner run.
Hahaha you have the exact set up I have. I have Blade, Kafka, Clara, and E6 QQ as main DPS (with Sampo support). Plus I have Luocha and Natasha, but no Gepard. I feel like I'm good on DPS characters right now but I desperately need preservation. Fire MC does ok, but his shields aren't that great and I'm getting crushed in MOC. As cool as Dan IL looks, having more DPS characters won't help me nearly as much as having a character that will just straight up keep my team alive. I really love DHIL's design, but Fu Xuan's animations and overall kit (plus Lynx in the banner) have convinced me to pull for her
@@starfoxconfessor And as someone who already has Luocha, you already know, being able to solo sustain a team with just one defensive unit really opens up the game and imo makes it more fun. It allows you to bring two units to support your DPS or let's you run a dual DPS comp, versus having to dedicate half of your team to sustain units. That's why, as someone who doesn't have Gepard or Bailu, I was intent on pulling for Luocha and Fu Xuan. You get those two characters on your account and you probably literally never have to worry about heals/tanking ever again, now you can just focus on building up your DPS and offensive supports.
@@EACru2002 Yep! Luocha pretty much sustains any team he's on, but the other team gets shredded (poor Natasha). So a solid sustain character is the last missing piece. Plus I'll probably also get a Lynx in the process of pulling for Fu Xuan, so she'll likey end up replacing Natasha as 2nd healer.
Seele and SW are my most used in almost every team. Their synergy mixes perfectly especially if my other two in the team cover the enemy weakness. Adding a dedicated quantum shielder and healer will break the game thanks to SW. Looks like my first mono team will be quantum! :D
Personally im thinking for going for fu xuang, even though i have luocha, e1 gepard and e6 Natasha cause that way ill have 2 good preservation and 2 good abundance, one of each for the 2 sides of MoC. And for dps i have seele, jing yuang and now just got kafka. I really like the playstyle and look for DhIl, but also his personality is so subdued i know id get kinda bored with him
I don't need anymore defensive units since I already got Luocha and Gepard and planning to build Lynx for the AoE debuff cleanse. I want a Dps for every element plus DHIL looks to be a dps on par (arguably even better than) with Seele in terms of actual damage output so that's a win to me.
I'm glad you covered basically my situation where I do need another damage dealer because I have been rolling constellations for Gepard, but I have Welt and at this point investing so many resources into a slightly better carry feels pointless. I didn't get Silverwolf, nor do I have Bronya so sadly I will have to skip a lot of banners until a strong utility champ comes along. Thank you for your video!
If what people are saying is true, Fu Xuan would be good for Jing Yuan 🤔 Since she can mitigate enemy CC and that is one of his biggest flaws. Since I already have him, she might be better for my roster. I also don't have Gepard and Fire MC may soon be something else MC, so I'd lose my strongest preservation unit. I lack ice coverage though, so was planning to aim for Jingliu. Choices choices 🙈
I think I really want to pull for IL. The only 5 stars I have are Himeko and Kafka. IL would help me a shit ton in MOC, since imaginary is so common. I also really like his animations. The only problems I have with him is his skill point management, light cones, and team comps. I guess I could run him with Tingyun, Natasha, and Yukong. But I have zero good destruction light cones- (I have woof walk time and the moles welcome you, but they are not really that good, and I have nothing else but 3 star light cones.) I definitely want to pull for Fu Xuan because Lynx is insane, both of their animations are cool, and mono quantum will probably be op asf. I might have to try to pull for both of them, as I really don’t think I’ll pull for Jing Liu, mainly because an ice damage dps is kind of not needed (in my opinion.)
I'd recommend the free 5* herta shop lightcone but if you can't get it for some reason I myself aren't thst sure too. I put the free 5* lightcone on my Clara but I plan to pull for IL's signature

It's also worth mentioning that Texture of Memories (Herta store Preservation LC) seems like the perfect LC for Fu Xuan. Since she's tanking a lot of damage for the whole team, personal survivability is crucial for her. She's gonna be the first character to utilize it well and it's also a very F2P friendly option. Another thing to note regarding Fu Xuan's future potential and irreplaceability is the mono quantum team. If you want to run full mono quantum as of Fu Xuan's release, you are forced to either use 2 sustaining units (Fu Xuan and Lynx) where Fu Xuan alone should be fully sufficient, or to use 2 skill point hungry DPS characters (Seele and Qingque) who don't really synergize well. This means that there is a ton of potential for this team comp, because future quantum characters (i.e. quantum harmony) will greatly boost its effectiveness. On that note, Fu Xuan is gonna be pretty much irreplaceable (at least for a long time) as the premier solo sustain of mono quantum.
To be fair, Qingque can be used both as a DPS or Sub DPS since she automatically pulls a new tile at each teamate's turn, so she doesn't need to use any skill point in a Sub DPS role. It's just less fun to play that way I guess, but it can help her fitting more teams. So she can work with Seele in a way, just not at 100% of her damage potential.
i sorta lack DPS but im still going for FU XUAN,i started 2 months late so i guess i missed the DPS characters but i can still do moc9 or so and lacking 60 jades per 2 weeks isnt much thats just a pride thing for people so yeah
the way you broke the characters into categories is nice, very easy to understand, thank you. personally, i'll try my luck at pulling for both of them (lunae and fu xuan) since it has worked in the past with jing yuan and silver wolf which came right after one another, since i lack both a proper sustain and a second 5 star dps for my second memory of chaos team, also for my second simulated universe team, but overall for the future fu xuan is looking more bright in the sense that it takes longer for supports to be powercrept (since even gepard isnt getting powercrept by fu xuan because she doesnt offer the same amount of sustain at a low investment)
Jing Yuan owner over here, he does way more than I expected and I 30 star every cycle, nothing to tell you, if you need a 2nd one for it go through or if you just aren't satisfied

It's so tough to decide. I got Bailu and Luocha as healers. I also got Seele and Blade as Main DPS with Silver Wolf to pair with them. I'm very thankful my characters are so balanced (unlike my Genshin account where it's all main dps babyyy), so I'm totally torn. Each character is so good, but I can only go for one. Daniel seems fun to utilize since I love Yukong, but Fu Xuan seems super nice for Blade and mono quantum.
Yea keep in mind they will probably both rerun within the year, so you can always go for topaz/jingliu for more elemental dps coverage. I will say tho that fu xuan/lynx both have amazing synergy w blade (they boost hp), seele, and silver wolf so that would make the most logical sense
That's what I was thinking too lol. Lynx is extremely good for a 4* and lots eople will pull for her instead of Fu Xuan. I don't know why she wasn't considered an alternative
can confirm that sustain is a big issue. when I heard we are getting a 4 star healer, I skipped Luocha; but i dont have gepard or bailu, meaning i cant properly push past MOC 7 (have 21 stars) even though I have seele, a very invested jing yuan, e1 clara, yanqing and kafka; i just cant survive properly later on
got Seele, Silver Wolf, Gepard, Welt C2 and Blade... The right choice is Fu Xuan and Lynx right? But i really want Dan Heng ;-; However i think im gona pull for every banner tbh, 40 pity and 80 pulls rn so let's see
I have Kafka and Yanqing for DPS already, but no 5* sustain, so I'm definitely leaning towards Fu Xuan. I think her CC resist will also be good for Topaz, too, and the recent drip marketing for Topaz is making me really want her
I do have 2 dps but really no defenders but imma still go for DHIL than save for her rerun it may switch back and forth but Im not a meta type I pull characters based off there designs or kit
Imo that's the best way to play. Pulling for meta will always keep you stressed because if you pull for dps it's inevitably going to get power crept. Pulling for designs/kit will make you enjoy the game more and eventually you'll be able to 30* moc anyway
Was planning to pull for him too but thinking his sp consumption will make him very very restricted to certain team comp makes me kinda want fu xuan first and lunae on rerun.
@@elbanana8274 tbh in the near future Hanabi will come out which will ease his sp consumption so if you're willing to wait for her it wouldn't be too bad to get him now. Plus the comps he's restricted too aren't bad at all (But yeah they'd get boring if that's all you use, like mono quantum when Fu Xuan comes out). IL + Tingyun/Yukong + Luocha + Pela is really solid
id like to ask...my 5* DPS's are Jing Yuan and Blade... I have Bailu, Natasha, and Luocha but no Gepard... I do not own SW... I really want both these characters but can only get one... please help me decide on which is the least regrettable choice...Thank you.
I feel like you already have enough Defensive characters. Bailu and Lucoha are good already but you also have Natasha. Blade and Jinguuan are also good but since Imaginary characters are rare right now I'd pull for IL. Since you don't have SW you can't really benefit from Mono quantum. Plus Lynx is going to synergize really well with Blade. Yukong and Asta are also on IL banner so Using Yukong for IL and maybe Asta for Blade is really good value. This is just my opinion though, pull for whoever will make you enjoy the game more.
dont forget that in the future banners we are getting dps destruction unit, Jingliu and imo she seems like a better team synergy for the upcoming units such as Lynx and Fu Xuan. And may even pair well with blade as a sub dps in a HP team
she will be bonkers with blade, or combo such as luc broyna blade Jingliu , making blade dmg scale a lot, check dps check when you make blade from c5 to c6 which is what will Jingliu make in a way
In my particular case, I have Seele (tho she needs more investment and work, artifacts kinda hate me) as a dps, and then I got Bronya, Bailu, Welt and Clara. Also multiple 4* with Eidolons (including Tingyun E6). Failed to get Jing Yuan, and since I got the guarantee, I skipped Silver Wolf, Luocha, Blade and now Kafka, all for my beloved DHIL. I would pull for him even if he healed the enemies lol. I feel like right now I'm lacking in damage, usually survivability isn't an issue having Bailu in one team and then March and/or Natasha in the other team (especially March + Clara). Also I'm saving the selectable standard banner 5* for Gepard since I got his lightcone, so by then survivability will be even less of an issue (if I don't get him earlier). I also feel like I don't have any teams that I can slot Welt into, neither Seele nor Clara want him, so I haven't invested too much into him yet. And I don't think I would be wise to invest in other Hunt characters since I have Seele using the F2P lightcone, I'm more lacking in multitarget more than anything. However I do agree that it would seem that Fu Xuan is probably more "worth the stellar jades" due to her uniqueness. Hell, once I'm done with DHIL I'll probably pull for her too if I can. Since I don't have Luocha nor Geppy for the time being, she would be very valuable to me. DHIL is the priority tho, Got over 200 tickets for him, trying to get his E2 and if possible lightcone as well, depending on my luck.
The crit rate buff on Fu Xuan is arguably the most helpful thing in her kit. Idk the final numbers but even if it's just 10% it is a MASSIVE HELP to building characters, relieving the pain of farming relics. That alone is worth getting her.
I'll get IL because I want DPS 5 stars for all elements first to counter all kind of enemies, and since I don't like SW anyway, I don't want to play the same team over and over again, and no way I would build a 4 stars dps cause they will always fall off. Fu Xuan is not one of it, I mean she's not bad, she's acutally very solid but I'm doing fine with Gepard and Luocha for now so I'd rather invest on damage dealer and supporter, Gepard is quite f2p friendly too, at one point you would get him anyway. Sustainer doesn't have to be broken, as long as they can keep the team alive with least effort then it's all good but DPS have to be good. If you don't have Luocha or if you like her you should go for her. That's all.
I'll pull for Fu Xuan because I have 2 dps already for my teams (Seele, and Kafka). I like supports since they offer nice utility. Plus there's always going to be more DPS coming out fulfilling DPS roles. Supports come out but they don't all do the same thing
Denheng IL is dps, 1 new addition 5s imaginary dps can bench him permanently like Jingyuan againts Kafka(you cant change my mind Kafka deals better dmg and kills enemy faster. i find lightning lord mechanic very sluggish waiting for his turn to strike when enemy is almost dead or already dead), getting Fu Xuan specially for mono quantum team is a very good investment, he offers a lot in the table not gonna say she is future proof but hoping she is.
On the other hand, you have situations like Seele, where a DPS remains top tier for a fair bit of time. DHIL isn't gonna be DoA like Jing Yuan. He's already eclipsing Seele at E0 S0.
I think there are 2 types of players. Players who have enough dmg to 3 star moc 10, but they die before they can. And players who never die in moc 10, but they cant clear it fast enough. For me I have seele silver wolf kafka etc my dps is great, but I skipped luocha and dont have bailu or gepard. So the choice is easy for me, but if you have a bailu or a gepard then fu xuan loses value for sure
Even with Bailu and Geppie, FX is an easy choice imo. She offers so much more than either of them. While they can both solo sustain, their dmg is abysmal. Having FX to solo sustain and deal dmg/buffing the team will be a gamechanger.
I have Blade and Sushang for dps at least, but I don't have Gepard or Luocha. I'm set on pulling for Fu Xuan. I'm just gonna have to pray for a Silver Wolf rerun next year so I can make that coveted Mono Quantum team
i only need 20 pulls for Guaranteed.. i have 22 gold tickets and 23k Stellar jades gonna use 20 gold tickets to get Guaranteed I.Lunae then the rest will be ALL for Fu xuan with 1.3 patch probably will get 12-14k stellar jades + 10 gold tickets so enough pulls even if i lose 50/50 on fu xuan banner i will get her no matter what
I have both gepard, loucha and E6 natasha. I have always been a fan of dan heng from the start so pulling for his il version and making him my main is a no brainer for me
For dmg dealers (5 star) rn i have blade, JY, Himeko (not fully built yet), and clara (also not fully built yet) for sustain Luocha and gepard both fully build I'm still looking to pull for IL though, i lack an imaginary DPS roster, both luocha and gepard is enough to sustain for each team on MoC. Most of all I like IL design and animation
FU Xuan is the only offensive preservation (at e0). Easy to build because she has a lot of crit rate in her traces and skill (almost base 40%) , I’ve seen builds with 9-10k with 70-150 crit ratio I’m using gepard and he feels so outdated, he can only freeze and shield. He can’t break with ult, do dmg or buff the team
her crit in her traces and skill is almost 40%... i just finished my relic set for her but the crit rate is 14% and crit damage is 105% so my crit rate will become 50%+?
i started playing on blades banner and i got him pretty early on pulls. i dont have gepard nor Luocha so i kind of HAVE to go for Fu xuan, since theres a healler, a debuffer and a tank/buffer in the same banner. thats a lot of support stuff and i think ill be ok to get jingliu since ill have a lot of utility from Fu xuans banner
I actually agree. It’s better to take out all the enemies asap than to make the fight drag on with defensive skills. But.. I really like Fu Xuan’s kit, so I’m still undecided 😵💫
I have a full build Kafka. Bailu, e1 gepard with a signature, yanqing, sw. Lvl 80 danheng. Lvl 75 yanqing. So I used a loot of materials. So probably IL is the best chose for me. Since I have only 1 hyper carry builded .
I pulled for Seele but since release I don't even got some crit gear for her so she stucks on low damage. Really happy with Kafka don't need crit. Will see how IL will be.
I joined right after Seele left or right before she left. Granted I don't really want or like her anyway but I've gotten every character and i went all in for Silver Wolf and planning to do it again for Topaz and i'm skipping Jing Liu. I have a resource management issue because I can't fight the urge to max everyone and everything so right now I can't even truly use my Lunae because I can't get him to 70 or 80
I was lucky enough to get Kafka, and Blade, so the DPS spots for me are already filled for the time being. I also have Luocha but no other good sustain for a second team, so I'll go for Fu Xuan.
Me who pulled e2 Gepard, have even worse luck in getting 4 stars or getting the right relic, will probably go for Fu xuan (I need Lynx as a second healer and maybe Fu can sustain better in cases of damage over time that had been dominating MOC for the last few cycles, so unless Dan Heng IL is really good and somehow can get to use his kit effectively without compromising my second team then I will go for the support for next path and pull him on a re run, it’s sad cause i really like Dan Heng and his other form IL meanwhile I don’t want the characters the patch afterward (Topaz or Jingliu) so it will take longer time to get a second limited 5 star DPS in my account.
No brainer okay. Im pulling for both. I already have Gepard and luocha. Only dps i really have built is blade so im definitely pulling for DHIL but also getting fu xuan so i can pair her up w linx and blade
I think fu xuan is the better banner if you're trying to improve your overall account and you're f2p. Fu xuan + natasha makes 2 teams for MoC. Natasha+fu xuan on one side and Lynx on the other (with fire mc if you're struggling).
Fu Xuan is definitely a better choice bcz DHIL(overrated) is just another dps who can easily get replaced in future and there are already enough dps rn
@@Dale553 I pretty much agree. I have a few DPS characters now I like and in the future I plan on throwing every extra gem I have after Fu Xuan's banner at Topaz and Jingliu. I probably won't get both but both would be great for DPS while also benefitting other characters in my account and not being as selfish as DHIL (Topaz because of her synergy with follow up attacks and Jingliu because of her synergy with Blade as a dps duo).
Well just by looking at the banner alone as whale and F2P, Fu Xuan will bring so much more than DHIL due to IL's having march, pela, and yukong. Literally pela and march have been rerolled 3 times so technically you have E4-6 for them if you haven't spent any jades. With Fu Xuan's banner you either get lucky to get early Fu or get unlucky to get E2 on lynx which is already equivalent to end game healers. I'll say it again DPS will always be replaced, and literally you can build 4* DPS and clear MOC10 with ease.
I personally got myself a blade along with his signature lightcone and a Kafka. I got really lucky and I didnt have to put any money into the game. Now, I am in love with IL dan heng as a character ( lore wise ) he is a personal favorite of mine, and I have been thinking about putting money into the game, being a former genshin whale. I do not own Luocha and my only healer is natacha so I have a lot of trouble clearing MOC and simulated universe, so in that regard, I do think Fu Xuan would be the better pick. I really dont know who to pull for, character of heart or character of reason 😭
I'd say the same with Dan Heng to be honest. Maybe not "easy mode" but you definitely won't have any issues. The only 5* he really needs is Luocha, you can use Tingyun/Yukong and a pela and he's good to go
The plan has always been to skip Dragon Dan and get Fu. I'm even skipping Kafka for Fu lol. Granted I did just get Blade and don't have and tank besides fire MC so Fu Xuan does just make sense for my current position.
I'm going for Fu Xuan bc since first time I saw her I resonated a lot with her, but I've had a terrible luck, I only have a bailu E2 and and a silverwolf that was guaranteed. I only get bailus and light ones... Hope Yanqing appears 😭
For offensive units I have Seele, Jingyuan (and Welt?) For defensive units I have Luocha, E1 Bailu with her sig LC. I could probably skip 1.3 and be fine but I wanna pull on both banners. I skipped 1.2 for this patch.
I'm conflicted I have seele and blade for DPS already while I also have gepard and bailu sustain. I have silver wolf too so I really wanna do mono quantum 😂

I think minimum you need is 2. Quantum is the best since it can ignore def and any element that has strong dmg output, I suggest destruction or hunt. You need supports of every element since they're the ones shredding the toughness most of the time. That way, it'll make your investment efficient as you don't drain fuel from building so many characters. However it still depends whether you want different playstyle.

As a Bailu and Jing Yuan haver, I planned to pull for Dan Heng and then later MAINLY for Lynx for my Clara Sushang Team Idk who to go for- Especially because I don't think I have a good Dan Heng synergy team

Honestly, Fu xuan is 100% better since you will probably use her in more teams and she has versatile comps, while IL needs specific Team comps because of his skill issues but can deal a lot of dmg ouput. I am still pulling for IL since i alr have Luocha and Gepard so i find no need to pull for her. Idk if i should save for Jing liu since she will pair well with Luocha and Blade because i have guaranteed so idk if i should waste it on IL; I alr have all the teamates for Mono ice and Mono Imaginary, so i cant wait for both, if i get Lucky while getting Lynx and IL then i will probably have enough to get atleast a 5* during Jing lius half, i hope i win my 50/50
I was gonna pull for IL Dan but it seems he burns way too many skill points and I don't have Luocha, and Yukong as a support is too clunky imo, like I'll have to speed tuning everyone, Tingyun could work but other than her I don't know who to put in a team with Dan :(
Another thing to consider is the banner units. If you have Tingyun/Pela, IL's banner holds significantly lesser value, especially when you pull for him because you already have enough sustain, completely invalidating the value for March 7th. Which means that if you miss the 50/50 you're giga fucked. If you have enough damage and want more sustain, Fu Xuan's banner has promise, especially with the new 4 star. However, the value of any extra Eidolons is questionable as Hook is already good enough at base while Pela doesn't seem to need any extra either. Even so, if you do miss the 50/50 it isn't as bad, though it still feels lackluster imo.
The Eidolons on IL's banner really appeal to me. I have an E3 Yukong and E4 Asta so getting their E6 would be very useful. I don't really care about March right now but I'll probably just build her later down the line. I have Luocha and Bailu (And while Fu Xuan and Lynx are better than Bailu) I don't feel like replacing someone who already does what I need them to do.
why would having tingyun/pela make Daniel's banner less valueable. Wouldn't it go up for already having the perfect supports for him? And yukong and asta's eidolons are also massive qols. For the 50/50, if you lose, you're fucked no matter what banner you're rolling on
@@vinhinh6810 I'll try to explain as best as I can, but if you still don't get it then I suggest getting help elsewhere because I can't make this any less simple. Resources are scarce, allocating them efficiently is important. If you already have great supports, like Tingyun/Pela who can fit in most teams, then building more supports has diminishing returns, i.e., less value. Furthermore, if you really need a DPS, relying on a 50/50 is ill advised, even more so if the 4 star banner units don't do anything new for your account. An exception, as for the case with Thunderocean above, is if you're in a position to comfortably e6 a unit you're already using. If you want Dan Heng IL because you like him, nothing else matters. If you want him because he's a strong DPS, it will be better to just wait. Yukong is outclassed by almost every other support when buffing a single target. You already have a free copy, so unless you can e6... That last part goes for March 7th and Asta as well. Both already are free and work great at low investment already, so eidolons would need a huge buff to warrant gambling for them. Asta is the only one really worth it, generally speaking.

@@vinhinh6810 It doesn't seem like you know that you can pull more than 90 times on the limited banner. If you save 180 pulls you can guarantee the 5 star, which means it's generally always better to be patient and save. If you can't do math, then god help you.
I only have bailu as defensive char so im going for fu xuan but the question remains can she "Solo sustain" because the team is still taking damage its like they slowly dying Because i missed loucha i need another defensive as strong as him or better

Ive E1 bailu, E1 Bronya, E1S1 gepard, but im still going for fu xuan, cus thanks to me losing all my 50 50 till now, i got seele, SW and kafka, im on a 50 50 rn but id live to win the 50 50 atleast once and get fu xuan for mono quantum, if i can't get her, I'll see 1.4 characters
utility units will always be better investment than dps. you will almost always need a sustain character (esp f2p players that cant grind insane cracked relics). the only dps that i think (currently) that is worth the pull just like utility units is kafka and seele because of seele's resurgence and the 500 self buffs she has, while kafka is a DoT detonator meaning you will always use kafka in a team that has DoT characters including future stronger 5* dots. standard dps characters are very prone to powercreep unless they have a cute gimmick that will keep them relevant for the longest time that isn't just damage damage damage. even if you have bailu luocha gepard, fu xuan is still a must pull simply because she's not just defense like gepard or just heal like bailu, she provides insane buffs like crit and hp boost, cc resistance, etc. remember this is a gacha turnbased game so always keep in mind that you want characters that will always be relevant
also IL's gameplay is very unhealthy for this game ngl, i have welt anyways that deals insane damage do i'm just going to wait for topaz and guinaifen instead, at least their gameplay and mechanics are fun
I'm already set on pulling Fu Xuan, because I only have Luocha. She also seems can fit in any type of party, very flexible. As for Dan IL, like everyone said the DPS power creep in this game is scary. Already I regret pulling Jing Yuan. The game is not even a year yet. Jing Liu coming out after, also I heard Raiden incoming in the future. I think it's ok to skip DPS characters, you won't miss out too much, because future characters going to be stronger anyways, just like Honkai Impact 3.
@@akiasuraSeems like a good answer would be to summon for two to three strong main carry dps characters of different elements and two defensive characters that can solo sustain a team. After that. Save up to get any characters you really want. Just have to make sure you have two solid teams first with a main carry offensively and defensively.
@@akiasura Pull based on the character you like, not meta, because like it or not, they going to be power creep by future characters. just like in any Honkai games. This is Mihoyo's strategy to make you keep pulling for new gacha characters and spend money. However if you pull based on characters that you like, maybe your waifu or husbando, even if the characters got power creep, you won't regret it, you still enjoy the game. The Meta doesn't matter much, because it's gonna keep changing with new characters enter the game. Old characters gonna get pushed down from the Tier list. Look at Jing Yuan, it's already happening. Just don't regret your pulls like me.
@@akiasura Going for a dps is always going to be riskier meta wise than going for a support, since dps characters are more prone to being powercrept. That isn't to say that you should never pull for one though, obviously you won't be getting very far without at least one. The best advice is to wait until you find one you really like, be it gameplay wise or character wise. Wait a week or so for people to test the dps before you pull, and if you still want them despite any flaws that TCs find, then go for it. A week of waiting just gives you extra time to grind stellar jade anyways :)

I actually got a lot of defensive units: Bailu, Gepard, Luocha and E6 Natasha. I dont have a 5 star Offensive unit except Himeko but she sucks. So I am aiming to get IL Dan Heng.
This is really a difficult one. I definitely love defensive supports but I already have Gepard and Luocha. I have Welt although not built for DPS, he can still do decent damage. IL looks so cool with the water dragon and would fulfill the need for a Imaginary DPS for my teams (i have more supports than DPS). But I’m also really lacking an Ice DPS too so I’m really wanting Jingliu.

Same here. Dan Heng IL just looks amazing and I'm a big fan of the dragon. I started playing during Jing Yuan's banner so I didn't have a chance to get Seele. My only dps rn are Clara and Jing Yuan. I have Luocha and Bailu so for my situation a dps like IL would benefit me more. Plus I have Yukong E3 rn, hoping to get E6 on his banner
@@Thunderdroceon IL will only get better when Hanabi comes out because she gives tons of skill points for him. With her and another harmony Biffer IL may be able to kill bosses without even needing to worry about breaking them.
@@Thunderdroceon that's the thing you get to run danheng IL with luocha, clara and flex like yukong, and then you get to run a second team with seele bailu then either bronya/asta and tingyun, i honestly don't get the disadvantage in pulling for seele, she always have a place when you have 2 DPS, in fact, i'm struggling even with seele because my DMG is not enough and with danheng + seele that will be solved.
In my opinion Fu Xuan gives more "potential" for hard contents, because of her kit which helps the dps play more safely and be more active (and in some cases you won't need a healer), but if you have Luocha her values drops significantly (in moc she maintain her value because you can use her in the other team).
Dan Heng will be very good for people who didn't pull for a lot of the broken dps characters or Silver Wolf, since he is a IMG dps, but in my case for example i don't really need the IMG coverage because i did pull for Silver Wolf (i can use any element and be ok), Jing and Blade.
So my pulls will go towards Fu Xuan and Lynx (who will be in my opinion one of the best healers for Blade because of the aggro she provides)

Imo, you should work toward having a DPS for every element. It just makes the game much easier. Though, Fu Xuan should be a must pull if you are missing 1 of the two between Gepard and Luocha.

yeah, but that 4 star quantum is also coming, she's damn broken, she might be better than bailu, with nathasha and her you technically do have enough CC, however yup if you have luocha you're pretty much done, luocha and the 4 star healer if you manage to get her then ye she looses a bit of value
@@NFYT so far mono quantum is jack of all trades, it got everything you need but excel at none. They have multi role. Except seele who are only have one role the best dps right now.
SW = 50% nihility 50% the hunt
Qinque = 50% erudition 50% the hunt
Fuxuan = 50% perservation 50% abundance
Lynx = 50% abundance 50% harmony
And with SW any enemy toughness can be broken.
Theoretically this team can face any content in HSR regardless of enemy type.
@@atamumu.breakfast2807 yeah i agree with that despite not being that good for certain contents unlike other teams its actually an all round good team, however to me is actually "slap most broken stuff, it will work", an argument can be made that this team leaves no room for improvement in a second team, because you're literally running all top tier units on a mid team when you could share all those insane supports in 2 teams, by example lynx, she's really synergystic with clara, however if you slap her on mono quantum you'll just leave the worse options for clara, same with SW if you have a second chamber with no good element built on your units.
I think is good if you're fighting overworld and simulated universe overall, but for MoC is not as good as people make it out to be, yeah, you have this insane all round team, then your second team barely has any options because those units are so demanding, quantum is meta in any case, i don't see why because of it slap your strongest units in a single team, it's better to balance them out in 2 teams, if the enemy is already weak to quantum, why put silver wolf instead of slapping her in other team, or if you have a clara, why not put lynx with her, and the list goes on.
the more units there are in the game the better it will be, as for now is a really greedy team and we don't have all that much units in the game. At least until we get that guaranteed standard 5 star unit so pretty much EVERYONE can get their guaranteed bronya and have a really solid buffing option for their team, before that is not that good for this early in the game ngl.
End game wise, you only really need 2 Tank/healer. Compared to DPS units where it would be preferable to have 1 of each element.

@SomaStory That's the thing, sustain units powercreep is less prominent than DPS units. Therefore, the 2 tank you get, even tho they will get powercreep by the new unit, STILL SOLO SUSTAINS THE TEAM.

@@SomaStory so luocha in a nutshell, in all honesty though, right now DPS are much more important than any tank unit at least until a lot of versions, if you have 2 (bailu and natasha, bailu and gepard, bailu and luocha, luocha and gepard, or all of them), your needs for a tank or a healer won't come in a REALLY long time because, at high investment ALL of these units will be able to heal/protect your entire party. Look at luocha, despite he's that good, you really didn't needed him as long as you had bailu and natasha, even when, he's MILES better than both of them, with the proper investment on your healers all of them will do a good job, most of them even have overhealing when max invested with speed and energy recharge
that, and also there's a 4 star quantum unit that heals and cleanses (and her dmg scales out of HP), so yea, defensive units are pretty much done)
Well if you don't have luocha you really need fu xuan. Just my opinion though. And yes her LC is good, but her F2P LC on herta's store is very great. She' basically immortal if you have that.
I'm pretty positive im going to Fu Xuan also I have Seele so I can ideally have mono quantum as an option. it's also great Lynx is on the banner so it feels like a win-win
mono teams are overrated asf, you don't really need them all that much, look at mono quantum, you have 2 defensive units already, you already have overhealing, in a slot where you could've put a bronya, or a tingyun, or whoever else, while in mono imaginary teams you have IL danheng (already a SP hungry unit), you're gonna pair him with Welt which is also an unit that is not that great subdps when you could've put a blade who is a great skill point efficient dmg dealer or you could've put a buffing unit like tingyun or bronya (with BiS weapon and with a lot of ER she's not that SP hungry while buffing THAT much your danheng)
So yea in conclusion is just better to play the synergies mono teams don't fall up just beacuse of silver wolf, they aren't really all that versatile and most of them are even overkill for the shield because as long as you have 2 units that break shield fine you'll constantly break them anyways.
mono qua for me is good for bosses. but gonna be hard for crowded enemy. thats what I thought.
@@NFYT mono quantum will save a lot of headache for me personally because silver wolf's weakness implant is not split into percentages based on the number of teammates you have in a particular element. For example, even if I have a team with 3 electro (Kafka, Tingyun and bailu for example), the chance of silver wolf applying weaknesses is split between electro and quantum in a 50/50 chance (so it's not 75% chance to apply electro weakness like i first thought). Having a mono quantum team guarantees that I will have a weakness implant for my Seele (which is a LOT because she deals more damage to quantum weak enemies with her relics, and the weakness applied element is also debuffed by SW).
In regards to team building, I heard that Fu xuan would not really be able to solo sustain (not sure on that yet) so having a healer is still a very comfortortable option (Lynx, who is also in the banner) - if she can be run as solo sustain, then it's very nice as well because you can now run a buffer - but the point is that you can still probably run Lynx as a very comfortable pick on one side. So my plan is just to run SW, Seele, Lynx, and Fu xuan on one side, and run the other with whatever is good for that side. And because it is run with full Quantum teammates, then whatever content comes out will always be comfortable to play against (and prevent me from the spree of applying the incorrect weakness that I always seem to run into).
I do agree though that most mono teams just make my eye roll! Just that this specific team will let me have fun with seele no matter what comes out in MOC.
Herta Store LC for Preservation is very good on Fu Xuan, as well. It's almost tailor-made for her.

I already have Seele, YJ, Blade & Yanqing but will still pull for IL. His design is too good to skip. If I didn't like his design, I'd go for FX (mainly for Lynx) because she enables Blade even more and she has a teamwide cleanse. On the other hand, I already have Luocha and Bailu so I don't *really* need FX either. I shouldn't pull for either if I played solely for efficiency.
My situation is exactly like yours lolololol, I want to pull FX because I think she looks cool, I want her for blade, and also want lynx as well, but I already have bailu and luocha 😂😂😂
I think I'm at the point where I don't need to pull anyone since I can 30* MoC with different teams. Having said that I will pull for IL as I like to have different dps coverage, FX would also make things more comfy but as you have said "dealing 1 million dmg is more fun". Who knows, maybe they will make the game so hard that FX is mandatory and I'll regret skipping FX!
I have Luocha and Bailu, but I'm getting really sick of Bailu not having a cleanse and her healing with her skill being semi-random. The Invigoration is great and all, but she just doesn't feel great to use. So I might try to get Fu, if only to complete mono-Quantum.
Daniël is a must for me though so we'll see how it goes.
For damage dealers I have Blade, Clara, Kafka (and Luka/Samp for her DOT team, though they're only e0), and e6 Qingque. For sustains I have only Luocha and Natasha (fire trailblazer can't solo sustain right?). I think I might benefit more from Fu Xuan. It helps I also like the 4 stars on her banner more. Those Hook eidolons will help make another possible damage dealer I have even better and Lynx can straight up replace Natasha. Guess I'll be pulling on Fu Xuan's. I was going to anyways because I just like her though lol
One thing to keep in mind is that Hoyoverse tends to set up the MoC to be favorable to the limited banner characters, so you'll probably see a lot of Imaginary enemies (alongside Quantum, which you have Qingque to handle). The upside of this however is if you notice, a lot of Imaginary Weak enemies also are Wind Weak, so chances are you can use Blade during IB Lunae's banner run.

Hahaha you have the exact set up I have. I have Blade, Kafka, Clara, and E6 QQ as main DPS (with Sampo support). Plus I have Luocha and Natasha, but no Gepard. I feel like I'm good on DPS characters right now but I desperately need preservation. Fire MC does ok, but his shields aren't that great and I'm getting crushed in MOC. As cool as Dan IL looks, having more DPS characters won't help me nearly as much as having a character that will just straight up keep my team alive. I really love DHIL's design, but Fu Xuan's animations and overall kit (plus Lynx in the banner) have convinced me to pull for her
@@starfoxconfessor And as someone who already has Luocha, you already know, being able to solo sustain a team with just one defensive unit really opens up the game and imo makes it more fun. It allows you to bring two units to support your DPS or let's you run a dual DPS comp, versus having to dedicate half of your team to sustain units. That's why, as someone who doesn't have Gepard or Bailu, I was intent on pulling for Luocha and Fu Xuan. You get those two characters on your account and you probably literally never have to worry about heals/tanking ever again, now you can just focus on building up your DPS and offensive supports.
@@EACru2002 Yep! Luocha pretty much sustains any team he's on, but the other team gets shredded (poor Natasha). So a solid sustain character is the last missing piece. Plus I'll probably also get a Lynx in the process of pulling for Fu Xuan, so she'll likey end up replacing Natasha as 2nd healer.
Seele and SW are my most used in almost every team. Their synergy mixes perfectly especially if my other two in the team cover the enemy weakness. Adding a dedicated quantum shielder and healer will break the game thanks to SW. Looks like my first mono team will be quantum! :D
Personally im thinking for going for fu xuang, even though i have luocha, e1 gepard and e6 Natasha cause that way ill have 2 good preservation and 2 good abundance, one of each for the 2 sides of MoC. And for dps i have seele, jing yuang and now just got kafka. I really like the playstyle and look for DhIl, but also his personality is so subdued i know id get kinda bored with him
I don't need anymore defensive units since I already got Luocha and Gepard and planning to build Lynx for the AoE debuff cleanse. I want a Dps for every element plus DHIL looks to be a dps on par (arguably even better than) with Seele in terms of actual damage output so that's a win to me.
Having Lynx on the banner will probably be my determining factor. Lynx is just too good not to pull for.
I'm glad you covered basically my situation where I do need another damage dealer because I have been rolling constellations for Gepard, but I have Welt and at this point investing so many resources into a slightly better carry feels pointless. I didn't get Silverwolf, nor do I have Bronya so sadly I will have to skip a lot of banners until a strong utility champ comes along. Thank you for your video!
If what people are saying is true, Fu Xuan would be good for Jing Yuan 🤔 Since she can mitigate enemy CC and that is one of his biggest flaws. Since I already have him, she might be better for my roster. I also don't have Gepard and Fire MC may soon be something else MC, so I'd lose my strongest preservation unit. I lack ice coverage though, so was planning to aim for Jingliu. Choices choices 🙈

I think I really want to pull for IL. The only 5 stars I have are Himeko and Kafka. IL would help me a shit ton in MOC, since imaginary is so common. I also really like his animations. The only problems I have with him is his skill point management, light cones, and team comps. I guess I could run him with Tingyun, Natasha, and Yukong. But I have zero good destruction light cones- (I have woof walk time and the moles welcome you, but they are not really that good, and I have nothing else but 3 star light cones.) I definitely want to pull for Fu Xuan because Lynx is insane, both of their animations are cool, and mono quantum will probably be op asf. I might have to try to pull for both of them, as I really don’t think I’ll pull for Jing Liu, mainly because an ice damage dps is kind of not needed (in my opinion.)
I'd recommend the free 5* herta shop lightcone but if you can't get it for some reason I myself aren't thst sure too. I put the free 5* lightcone on my Clara but I plan to pull for IL's signature

It's also worth mentioning that Texture of Memories (Herta store Preservation LC) seems like the perfect LC for Fu Xuan. Since she's tanking a lot of damage for the whole team, personal survivability is crucial for her. She's gonna be the first character to utilize it well and it's also a very F2P friendly option.
Another thing to note regarding Fu Xuan's future potential and irreplaceability is the mono quantum team. If you want to run full mono quantum as of Fu Xuan's release, you are forced to either use 2 sustaining units (Fu Xuan and Lynx) where Fu Xuan alone should be fully sufficient, or to use 2 skill point hungry DPS characters (Seele and Qingque) who don't really synergize well. This means that there is a ton of potential for this team comp, because future quantum characters (i.e. quantum harmony) will greatly boost its effectiveness. On that note, Fu Xuan is gonna be pretty much irreplaceable (at least for a long time) as the premier solo sustain of mono quantum.
The quantum Harmony character is the skill battery one. Its actually going to be much better for IL.
To be fair, Qingque can be used both as a DPS or Sub DPS since she automatically pulls a new tile at each teamate's turn, so she doesn't need to use any skill point in a Sub DPS role. It's just less fun to play that way I guess, but it can help her fitting more teams. So she can work with Seele in a way, just not at 100% of her damage potential.

i sorta lack DPS but im still going for FU XUAN,i started 2 months late so i guess i missed the DPS characters but i can still do moc9 or so and lacking 60 jades per 2 weeks isnt much thats just a pride thing for people so yeah
the way you broke the characters into categories is nice, very easy to understand, thank you. personally, i'll try my luck at pulling for both of them (lunae and fu xuan) since it has worked in the past with jing yuan and silver wolf which came right after one another, since i lack both a proper sustain and a second 5 star dps for my second memory of chaos team, also for my second simulated universe team, but overall for the future fu xuan is looking more bright in the sense that it takes longer for supports to be powercrept (since even gepard isnt getting powercrept by fu xuan because she doesnt offer the same amount of sustain at a low investment)
Fu Xuan probably the best character to utilize herta preservation LC, actually insane on her

It's so tough to decide. I got Bailu and Luocha as healers. I also got Seele and Blade as Main DPS with Silver Wolf to pair with them. I'm very thankful my characters are so balanced (unlike my Genshin account where it's all main dps babyyy), so I'm totally torn. Each character is so good, but I can only go for one. Daniel seems fun to utilize since I love Yukong, but Fu Xuan seems super nice for Blade and mono quantum.
I guess you can skip both if that is the case (just giving you options)

Yea keep in mind they will probably both rerun within the year, so you can always go for topaz/jingliu for more elemental dps coverage. I will say tho that fu xuan/lynx both have amazing synergy w blade (they boost hp), seele, and silver wolf so that would make the most logical sense

can confirm that sustain is a big issue. when I heard we are getting a 4 star healer, I skipped Luocha; but i dont have gepard or bailu, meaning i cant properly push past MOC 7 (have 21 stars) even though I have seele, a very invested jing yuan, e1 clara, yanqing and kafka; i just cant survive properly later on

Imo that's the best way to play. Pulling for meta will always keep you stressed because if you pull for dps it's inevitably going to get power crept. Pulling for designs/kit will make you enjoy the game more and eventually you'll be able to 30* moc anyway
Was planning to pull for him too but thinking his sp consumption will make him very very restricted to certain team comp makes me kinda want fu xuan first and lunae on rerun.
@@elbanana8274 tbh in the near future Hanabi will come out which will ease his sp consumption so if you're willing to wait for her it wouldn't be too bad to get him now. Plus the comps he's restricted too aren't bad at all (But yeah they'd get boring if that's all you use, like mono quantum when Fu Xuan comes out).

I feel like you already have enough Defensive characters. Bailu and Lucoha are good already but you also have Natasha. Blade and Jinguuan are also good but since Imaginary characters are rare right now I'd pull for IL.
Since you don't have SW you can't really benefit from Mono quantum. Plus Lynx is going to synergize really well with Blade. Yukong and Asta are also on IL banner so Using Yukong for IL and maybe Asta for Blade is really good value.
This is just my opinion though, pull for whoever will make you enjoy the game more.
dont forget that in the future banners we are getting dps destruction unit, Jingliu and imo she seems like a better team synergy for the upcoming units such as Lynx and Fu Xuan. And may even pair well with blade as a sub dps in a HP team
i dont see how shes going to be good with fu xuan. As far as i know her hp drain ignores fu xuan's mitigation
she will be bonkers with blade, or combo such as luc broyna blade Jingliu , making blade dmg scale a lot, check dps check when you make blade from c5 to c6 which is what will Jingliu make in a way
In my particular case, I have Seele (tho she needs more investment and work, artifacts kinda hate me) as a dps, and then I got Bronya, Bailu, Welt and Clara. Also multiple 4* with Eidolons (including Tingyun E6). Failed to get Jing Yuan, and since I got the guarantee, I skipped Silver Wolf, Luocha, Blade and now Kafka, all for my beloved DHIL. I would pull for him even if he healed the enemies lol.
I feel like right now I'm lacking in damage, usually survivability isn't an issue having Bailu in one team and then March and/or Natasha in the other team (especially March + Clara). Also I'm saving the selectable standard banner 5* for Gepard since I got his lightcone, so by then survivability will be even less of an issue (if I don't get him earlier).
I also feel like I don't have any teams that I can slot Welt into, neither Seele nor Clara want him, so I haven't invested too much into him yet. And I don't think I would be wise to invest in other Hunt characters since I have Seele using the F2P lightcone, I'm more lacking in multitarget more than anything.
However I do agree that it would seem that Fu Xuan is probably more "worth the stellar jades" due to her uniqueness. Hell, once I'm done with DHIL I'll probably pull for her too if I can. Since I don't have Luocha nor Geppy for the time being, she would be very valuable to me.
DHIL is the priority tho, Got over 200 tickets for him, trying to get his E2 and if possible lightcone as well, depending on my luck.
The crit rate buff on Fu Xuan is arguably the most helpful thing in her kit. Idk the final numbers but even if it's just 10% it is a MASSIVE HELP to building characters, relieving the pain of farming relics. That alone is worth getting her.

Hoyo will definitely find a way to implement a new nerf function for preservation just like for abundance where the enemy can limit our hp to half.
I'll get IL because I want DPS 5 stars for all elements first to counter all kind of enemies, and since I don't like SW anyway, I don't want to play the same team over and over again, and no way I would build a 4 stars dps cause they will always fall off. Fu Xuan is not one of it, I mean she's not bad, she's acutally very solid but I'm doing fine with Gepard and Luocha for now so I'd rather invest on damage dealer and supporter, Gepard is quite f2p friendly too, at one point you would get him anyway. Sustainer doesn't have to be broken, as long as they can keep the team alive with least effort then it's all good but DPS have to be good. If you don't have Luocha or if you like her you should go for her. That's all.
I'll pull for Fu Xuan because I have 2 dps already for my teams (Seele, and Kafka). I like supports since they offer nice utility. Plus there's always going to be more DPS coming out fulfilling DPS roles. Supports come out but they don't all do the same thing

Denheng IL is dps, 1 new addition 5s imaginary dps can bench him permanently like Jingyuan againts Kafka(you cant change my mind Kafka deals better dmg and kills enemy faster. i find lightning lord mechanic very sluggish waiting for his turn to strike when enemy is almost dead or already dead), getting Fu Xuan specially for mono quantum team is a very good investment, he offers a lot in the table not gonna say she is future proof but hoping she is.
On the other hand, you have situations like Seele, where a DPS remains top tier for a fair bit of time.
DHIL isn't gonna be DoA like Jing Yuan. He's already eclipsing Seele at E0 S0.
if they somehow powercreep DHIL when hes already a damn nuke this early into the game then ill be suprised
I think there are 2 types of players. Players who have enough dmg to 3 star moc 10, but they die before they can. And players who never die in moc 10, but they cant clear it fast enough. For me I have seele silver wolf kafka etc my dps is great, but I skipped luocha and dont have bailu or gepard. So the choice is easy for me, but if you have a bailu or a gepard then fu xuan loses value for sure

Even with Bailu and Geppie, FX is an easy choice imo. She offers so much more than either of them. While they can both solo sustain, their dmg is abysmal. Having FX to solo sustain and deal dmg/buffing the team will be a gamechanger.

with 1.3 patch probably will get 12-14k stellar jades + 10 gold tickets

Most of all I like IL design and animation
FU Xuan is the only offensive preservation (at e0). Easy to build because she has a lot of crit rate in her traces and skill (almost base 40%) , I’ve seen builds with 9-10k with 70-150 crit ratio
I’m using gepard and he feels so outdated, he can only freeze and shield. He can’t break with ult, do dmg or buff the team
her crit in her traces and skill is almost 40%... i just finished my relic set for her but the crit rate is 14% and crit damage is 105%
so my crit rate will become 50%+?
i started playing on blades banner and i got him pretty early on pulls. i dont have gepard nor Luocha so i kind of HAVE to go for Fu xuan, since theres a healler, a debuffer and a tank/buffer in the same banner. thats a lot of support stuff and i think ill be ok to get jingliu since ill have a lot of utility from Fu xuans banner
for me, it comes down to playing this game to do insane amounts of damage rather than long play with shields 😏

I actually agree. It’s better to take out all the enemies asap than to make the fight drag on with defensive skills. But.. I really like Fu Xuan’s kit, so I’m still undecided 😵💫

I joined right after Seele left or right before she left. Granted I don't really want or like her anyway but I've gotten every character and i went all in for Silver Wolf and planning to do it again for Topaz and i'm skipping Jing Liu. I have a resource management issue because I can't fight the urge to max everyone and everything so right now I can't even truly use my Lunae because I can't get him to 70 or 80
I was lucky enough to get Kafka, and Blade, so the DPS spots for me are already filled for the time being. I also have Luocha but no other good sustain for a second team, so I'll go for Fu Xuan.

Me who pulled e2 Gepard, have even worse luck in getting 4 stars or getting the right relic, will probably go for Fu xuan (I need Lynx as a second healer and maybe Fu can sustain better in cases of damage over time that had been dominating MOC for the last few cycles, so unless Dan Heng IL is really good and somehow can get to use his kit effectively without compromising my second team then I will go for the support for next path and pull him on a re run, it’s sad cause i really like Dan Heng and his other form IL meanwhile I don’t want the characters the patch afterward (Topaz or Jingliu) so it will take longer time to get a second limited 5 star DPS in my account.
I am not sure about Daniel, but I am quite intrigued by Fu Xuan; I may try a few pull for her.

I think fu xuan is the better banner if you're trying to improve your overall account and you're f2p. Fu xuan + natasha makes 2 teams for MoC. Natasha+fu xuan on one side and Lynx on the other (with fire mc if you're struggling).
Fu Xuan is definitely a better choice bcz DHIL(overrated) is just another dps who can easily get replaced in future and there are already enough dps rn

@@Dale553 I pretty much agree. I have a few DPS characters now I like and in the future I plan on throwing every extra gem I have after Fu Xuan's banner at Topaz and Jingliu. I probably won't get both but both would be great for DPS while also benefitting other characters in my account and not being as selfish as DHIL (Topaz because of her synergy with follow up attacks and Jingliu because of her synergy with Blade as a dps duo).

Well just by looking at the banner alone as whale and F2P, Fu Xuan will bring so much more than DHIL due to IL's having march, pela, and yukong. Literally pela and march have been rerolled 3 times so technically you have E4-6 for them if you haven't spent any jades. With Fu Xuan's banner you either get lucky to get early Fu or get unlucky to get E2 on lynx which is already equivalent to end game healers.
I'll say it again DPS will always be replaced, and literally you can build 4* DPS and clear MOC10 with ease.
I personally got myself a blade along with his signature lightcone and a Kafka. I got really lucky and I didnt have to put any money into the game. Now, I am in love with IL dan heng as a character ( lore wise ) he is a personal favorite of mine, and I have been thinking about putting money into the game, being a former genshin whale. I do not own Luocha and my only healer is natacha so I have a lot of trouble clearing MOC and simulated universe, so in that regard, I do think Fu Xuan would be the better pick. I really dont know who to pull for, character of heart or character of reason 😭
Fuxuan unlocks easy mode. If you already have 2 five star dps she will make your runs super smooth.
I'd say the same with Dan Heng to be honest. Maybe not "easy mode" but you definitely won't have any issues. The only 5* he really needs is Luocha, you can use Tingyun/Yukong and a pela and he's good to go
I'll probably pull Fu Xuan for future investment into Topaz and Jingliu(mainly her....)
The plan has always been to skip Dragon Dan and get Fu. I'm even skipping Kafka for Fu lol. Granted I did just get Blade and don't have and tank besides fire MC so Fu Xuan does just make sense for my current position.

I think minimum you need is 2. Quantum is the best since it can ignore def and any element that has strong dmg output, I suggest destruction or hunt. You need supports of every element since they're the ones shredding the toughness most of the time. That way, it'll make your investment efficient as you don't drain fuel from building so many characters. However it still depends whether you want different playstyle.

As a Bailu and Jing Yuan haver, I planned to pull for Dan Heng and then later MAINLY for Lynx for my Clara Sushang Team
Idk who to go for- Especially because I don't think I have a good Dan Heng synergy team
I have luocha E1, gepard E2 and Natasha, I don’t have seele jing blade or Kafka so IL is my priority, fu xuan I’ll have to skip for jingliu since she pairs well with luocha
Honestly, Fu xuan is 100% better since you will probably use her in more teams and she has versatile comps, while IL needs specific Team comps because of his skill issues but can deal a lot of dmg ouput.
I am still pulling for IL since i alr have Luocha and Gepard so i find no need to pull for her.
Idk if i should save for Jing liu since she will pair well with Luocha and Blade because i have guaranteed so idk if i should waste it on IL;
I alr have all the teamates for Mono ice and Mono Imaginary, so i cant wait for both, if i get Lucky while getting Lynx and IL then i will probably have enough to get atleast a 5* during Jing lius half, i hope i win my 50/50
Fu Xuan + Silver Wolf means I can then have 50% quantum and 50% some other element (2 characters). Of course mono quantum is also an option.

No she won't. Blade wants all the aggro and having a preservation character takes that away. It would be better to put him with Lynx
I was gonna pull for IL Dan but it seems he burns way too many skill points and I don't have Luocha, and Yukong as a support is too clunky imo, like I'll have to speed tuning everyone, Tingyun could work but other than her I don't know who to put in a team with Dan :(
Another thing to consider is the banner units.
If you have Tingyun/Pela, IL's banner holds significantly lesser value, especially when you pull for him because you already have enough sustain, completely invalidating the value for March 7th. Which means that if you miss the 50/50 you're giga fucked.
If you have enough damage and want more sustain, Fu Xuan's banner has promise, especially with the new 4 star. However, the value of any extra Eidolons is questionable as Hook is already good enough at base while Pela doesn't seem to need any extra either. Even so, if you do miss the 50/50 it isn't as bad, though it still feels lackluster imo.
The Eidolons on IL's banner really appeal to me. I have an E3 Yukong and E4 Asta so getting their E6 would be very useful. I don't really care about March right now but I'll probably just build her later down the line.
I have Luocha and Bailu (And while Fu Xuan and Lynx are better than Bailu) I don't feel like replacing someone who already does what I need them to do.
why would having tingyun/pela make Daniel's banner less valueable. Wouldn't it go up for already having the perfect supports for him? And yukong and asta's eidolons are also massive qols.
For the 50/50, if you lose, you're fucked no matter what banner you're rolling on
@@vinhinh6810 I'll try to explain as best as I can, but if you still don't get it then I suggest getting help elsewhere because I can't make this any less simple.
Resources are scarce, allocating them efficiently is important. If you already have great supports, like Tingyun/Pela who can fit in most teams, then building more supports has diminishing returns, i.e., less value. Furthermore, if you really need a DPS, relying on a 50/50 is ill advised, even more so if the 4 star banner units don't do anything new for your account.
An exception, as for the case with Thunderocean above, is if you're in a position to comfortably e6 a unit you're already using.
If you want Dan Heng IL because you like him, nothing else matters. If you want him because he's a strong DPS, it will be better to just wait.
Yukong is outclassed by almost every other support when buffing a single target. You already have a free copy, so unless you can e6... That last part goes for March 7th and Asta as well. Both already are free and work great at low investment already, so eidolons would need a huge buff to warrant gambling for them. Asta is the only one really worth it, generally speaking.
@@gameplayerone3917 Having more supports doesn't necessary mean diminishing return, that just gives you more options for more situation, and they all do slightly different thing( yukong's a nuke buffer, tingyun gives ER, asta gives spd and is an amazing breaker)

Do you even see what you're typing, you have pela and pulling another pela would give you something new??, and you want sustain? nah how about hook and himeko? like I said hoping for a 50/50 win on ANY role is equally unreliable no matter dps or sustain.
The only deal breaker here's Lynx, 2/3 Fu's banner are duds. So if you don't take into account the featured 5*, it comes down to do you want 1/3 chance for a lynx OR 2/3 chance for great support eidolons, and again, if you lose the 50/50 you're fucked EITHER WAY
@@vinhinh6810 It doesn't seem like you know that you can pull more than 90 times on the limited banner. If you save 180 pulls you can guarantee the 5 star, which means it's generally always better to be patient and save. If you can't do math, then god help you.
I only have bailu as defensive char so im going for fu xuan but the question remains can she "Solo sustain" because the team is still taking damage its like they slowly dying

@@Sunrise20403Yeah she can, they didn't mention her traces which is where the ult heal comes from. And dw the most significant nerf she received was to her eidolons, other than that she actually got buffed

For me, fu xuan might be the saving grace because im suffering for having too much dps which is blade, kafka(kinda but can be used as a sub), yanqing and himeko

Dan is a Alter/Archon unit which rarely gets crept
utility units will always be better investment than dps. you will almost always need a sustain character (esp f2p players that cant grind insane cracked relics). the only dps that i think (currently) that is worth the pull just like utility units is kafka and seele because of seele's resurgence and the 500 self buffs she has, while kafka is a DoT detonator meaning you will always use kafka in a team that has DoT characters including future stronger 5* dots. standard dps characters are very prone to powercreep unless they have a cute gimmick that will keep them relevant for the longest time that isn't just damage damage damage.
even if you have bailu luocha gepard, fu xuan is still a must pull simply because she's not just defense like gepard or just heal like bailu, she provides insane buffs like crit and hp boost, cc resistance, etc.
remember this is a gacha turnbased game so always keep in mind that you want characters that will always be relevant
also IL's gameplay is very unhealthy for this game ngl, i have welt anyways that deals insane damage do i'm just going to wait for topaz and guinaifen instead, at least their gameplay and mechanics are fun
I'm already set on pulling Fu Xuan, because I only have Luocha. She also seems can fit in any type of party, very flexible. As for Dan IL, like everyone said the DPS power creep in this game is scary. Already I regret pulling Jing Yuan. The game is not even a year yet. Jing Liu coming out after, also I heard Raiden incoming in the future. I think it's ok to skip DPS characters, you won't miss out too much, because future characters going to be stronger anyways, just like Honkai Impact 3.
so with your logic in mind, when do you actually go for the DPS character?
@@akiasuraSeems like a good answer would be to summon for two to three strong main carry dps characters of different elements and two defensive characters that can solo sustain a team.
After that. Save up to get any characters you really want.
Just have to make sure you have two solid teams first with a main carry offensively and defensively.
@@akiasura Pull based on the character you like, not meta, because like it or not, they going to be power creep by future characters. just like in any Honkai games. This is Mihoyo's strategy to make you keep pulling for new gacha characters and spend money. However if you pull based on characters that you like, maybe your waifu or husbando, even if the characters got power creep, you won't regret it, you still enjoy the game. The Meta doesn't matter much, because it's gonna keep changing with new characters enter the game. Old characters gonna get pushed down from the Tier list. Look at Jing Yuan, it's already happening. Just don't regret your pulls like me.
@@akiasura Going for a dps is always going to be riskier meta wise than going for a support, since dps characters are more prone to being powercrept. That isn't to say that you should never pull for one though, obviously you won't be getting very far without at least one. The best advice is to wait until you find one you really like, be it gameplay wise or character wise. Wait a week or so for people to test the dps before you pull, and if you still want them despite any flaws that TCs find, then go for it. A week of waiting just gives you extra time to grind stellar jade anyways :)
I have Jing yuan, Blade and yangqing as DPS. While Luocha, Bailu and E6 natalia as sustain. Hmmmmm which is which 🤔
