@@aibanicemanmaybe something deeper in that actuator (gears? PCB?) or maybe the mosfets/relays in the 4wd computer are fried, or cables? Do you hear the relays ticking from the passenger side trying to spin that actuator?

Thanks for the additional video… so the problem is also intermittent … starts or stops working when I hit a bump on the road… noticed it works when I changed to a new battery … would voltage be a reason.. checked and cleaned connectors with wd40 … would that suggest wiring than fried computer ? Any more ideas ?
@@aibanicemanwait, I don't think wd40 is something you clean electrical connections with, it might make the contacts even worse. Try a contact cleaner (at least to clean out the wd40 you sprayed in there)

Hi. Thanks for your video. Got the C1228 code as the same lights were flashing. Just that the code did not clear and the vehicle is not shifting out of 3rd gear to 4th. Mechanic said I need to change transfer switch behind the 4L/N dial. Auto parts place said have to replace entire panel - special order. Any suggestions? Appreciate it.

@mwaz consider buying a cheap obd dongle like I've used in the video. It's a few bucks on aliexpress and gives you a ton of information from the sensors

@MrWajifino, I'm glad that you found the solution, I hope the 4wd module wasn't affected. Did you buy the whole actuator module? Or only the rotor?

I doubt it'll reduce your fuel consumption, the wheels will be spinning the diff even without the propshaft.
Not sure it's safe, I would keep it 4wd...
