G'day friends What are some of your favourite Euros that look more complicated than they actually are? I though Praga looked overwhelming at first, but then when I sat down to learn it, it was a lot easier than I thought!
@@unlimitedrabbit yes the board is very overwhelming artistic wise. Once you know what each section of the board does, you tend to appreciate the art more I think!
We love Praga, and I appreciate your take and review. We've played it enough times now to also have made good use of the game's included, extra content to mix things up a bit.
yes. I think after a few plays, the game doesn't seem too hard to get into. The only thing I found was that the city was also so empty in my games. Also love how games do give the option of using extra content :)
While it's much simpler than Praga Caput Regni, I'm fond of Yellow & Yangtze because it cuts right to the bone of a conflict based area control strategy game. 🐲
@@BoardGameSanctuary Y&Y is sooooooo good!!! it's abstract for the most part but also the actions make sense thematically in a way. But the conflict based area control is done perfectly! You don't have to do conflict as it can have devastatign effects btu you could also come out on top so its all very satisfying!

Good to hear! I was somewhat intimidated by the busy looking board and the iconography but with your approval, I'm more willing to give it a try.😊

I have yet to try Yellow Yangtzee, I have seen it so consider me interested :) Thanks for the recommendation!
