They even played his big monologue from the first _John Wick_ film, and it was amazing to listen to. Just the voice acting alone was fantastic and gave me chills! Listening to it gave me even more appreciation than before for his acting skills and the emotion he tapped into for that scene. (I also find myself contemplating periodically the real-life losses he’s experienced that are similar to elements of this series. ❤️)
And he doesn’t even need a whole monologue to be impressive-he can deliver way more than you would expected with just a one-word, one-syllable reply that’s perfectly timed and inflected. 😁 (If you ever get the chance to watch _John Wick: Chapter 3-Parabellum,_ you’ll likely get what I’m referring to here. ^^)
