@@keyki9832 we tend to forget that Oda actually uses a tiny bit of physics sensibility. That robot is astronomically massive, at that speed it swung that fist, with that much mass, also being a technological wonder (probably some insane material) it’s like a meteor strike.
Like, no matter how broken Luffy may be, I doubt he wouldn’t be fatally wounded if he took a Fujitora meteor. Same concept, just a massive thing hitting very fast.

The Iron giant is sounding a bit more like the Golem of Prague. Where a rabbi brings together a bunch of straw and mud, forms it into a person, inscribes the word "Emet" and it comes to life as a protector

It’s from the Hebrew golem story. The word “emet” means truth (or life in some versions) and the removal of one letter changes it to “met” which means death. The golem had “emet” inscribed on it and changing that to “met” caused it to stop rampaging. I predict (rather obviously) the golem will be defeated and die (“emet” to “met”).

If you see carefully there should be a pannel of the iron giant speaking and luffy shifting his eyes towards the dialogue as is he is listening. So yeah luffy is listening. He can hear the iron giant.

Powerscalers are very salty right now with this chapter regarding the Iron Giant punching out Warcury easily.

The team up move of Bonnie Sanji, Frankie and Luffy feels like it's a reference to Kuma's paw repel powers.
The Iron Giant being named Emeth makes some sense with that being the word that brings the Golem to life while if your erase a part of the word makes it meth which means death
If this is how powerful the metal giant is after months of narrative blue balling imagine how powerful dragon must be.
I absolutely loved the Kaku and Stussy scene. Kaku getting a taste of his own medicine, but still wanting Stussy to survive. My favorite scene was the combo attack tho, especially Sanji and Franky telling Bonney to punch their captain as hard as she can and her reaction to that. Just shows how crazy the Strawhat crew dynamic is.

Franky is still helping even without haki. The whole point of the attack is the force behind it, not being able to hurt Luffy, and Franky is 100% still exerting force even without haki.
I understood Luffy's statement as confirmation that Franky IS using haki now. He even gave that punch a "stronger name".
But may its just my wish because I like franky do much^^

Agreed though: I think Joyboy is actually speaking to Emet. Clearly Luffy wasn't the one talking to Law and Momo on Wano underwater and unconscious. There may just be the chance that Joyboy can speak through Luffy as a soul residing in the Fruit. It gives more credence to this idea especially when, back on Dressrosa, Sabo said to Burgess that Ace said (line I can't exactly remember) and after the Dressrosa battle as well when Sabo spoke to Zoro and Zoro noted that Ace said the same thing. Ace spoke through Sabo both times, so it doesn't seem too wild that Joyboy can use the voice of all things to communicate telepathically through Luffy.
That robot is rapidly starting to look like an "Ancient Weapon".
No, not at all. We know quite much about all of them. Poseidon is shirahoshi and the sea kings, pluton is some kind of ship under wano, not in egghead. And uranus is the flying laser bazooka that vegapunk just talked about for several chapters. The iron giant is "just" part of joyboys crew just like zunisha. It seems the power level was quite a lot higher in the void century than it is today.
speaking of mecha series, I vaguely remember about Oda when asked what would he do after he finish One Piece, he said he gonna make a new manga about mecha stuff 🤔

Biggest stand out to me was the big ol pig jumping almost straight into the ocean. Maybe he can fly or teleport, but he is about as big as the giants ship and looking at the panel, I paused at the bold move jumping off the island right over potentially his only weakness in the world

Why would he reveal Bonney having haki with the armament coloring but not do the same thing for Franky though? It just seems weird to do it differently for Franky when his panel is literally next to the panel of Bonney using armament. I'll need to see more to conclude that he has haki.

I love how at the end of Wano, Luffy had been portrayed as an unstoppable divine force, but the deeper we get into egghead the more he seems like he did pre-timeskip, surrounded by superior forces on all sides.
I think that S-Bear will help our heroes escape, become Bonney's new first mate, get renamed Nikuma (Nii-Kuma = Japanese for 2-Kuma, Niku = Japanese for Meat because Gluttony) and go on to help her rescue her crewmates (and miscellaneous others) from Impel Down. It is a Pacifista based on Kuma after all, so assuming that he heard Bonney's order to "HELP US ESCAPE" which we absolutely should assume, since he was about as far from her when she gave that order as the rest of the Pacifists, then he's already under her command, he's just been waiting for the bubble holding him to be burst.

I just realised (unrelated to the chapter) that Marco is the only zoan user whose clothes don't show up in their full animal form. In case anyone says kaido, he still had his fluff cape thing.
Armament haki is used to, among other things, to harden the skin. Franky's arms are made of Wapometal (same thing Kuma is made of) doesn't that make his fists comparable to haki? Of course, he won't be punching logias, but I refuse to believe his punches are weaker than Charlotte Counter just because of haki.
I do agree that Emeth must be made out of a special, super tough metal (of course, only second compared to Wapolmetal) or be generated by an ancient fuel source that gives it the power to harm an Elder. It would give credence to Vegapunk's theories about how the Ancient Kingdom functioned all those centuries ago and why the Elders are so wary of it since its attack on Marijoa.
Also, Luffy entering the robot and piloting it to make Emeth mimic his movements, G Gundam style, would be so cool XD
I did think Franky used Haki at first because it's clearly an upgraded Strong Right, but it occurred to me that he may have somehow figured out a way to infuse Radical Beam into his Strong Right.

My theory is that Shanks has asked Marco to join a couple times because he knew the world would flood and during the biblical flood they used birds to find land.
I think even if all the vegapunks die, taking stellas corpse with us would be massive because of the apple-antenna, which is a connection to punk records that maybe franky or even the recolutionarys could access

I don't get the casual disregard for Franky. Haki allows humans to fight as if they were 'tough as iron', yeah? Franky is made of fictional super alloy and powered by some ridiculous hydraulic system. Why wouldn't he have 'haki-level' output on a punch? Crazy strong Haki users can punch dents into steel plates. Does that really sound like an impractical standard for Franky to meet?

When St. Shepherd was spitting everyone out, I felt like he was emerging from underwater. It's hidden by Oda, but this would confirm that their power doesn't come from a Devil Fruit.

Emmeth was the Franky of joyboys crew as Franky also means a honest and to the point man which is similar to the meaning of the name Emmett. Its my belief that frankys next major upgrade will integrate franky into a heavily upgraded version of the general franky.
I got a theory about about one piece
The first theory is that when blackbeard taken whitebeard power that the blanket they put over whitebeard was sea prism stone and Devil fruits can not go throw sea prism stone
The Second theory is that joy boy made the first devil fruit that can make devil fruit but not by the knowing of the devil food user but by the people in the world

the giant robot is made out of metal shaped using the heat from the mother flame, maybe even an ancient kingdom version of wapometal but the earlier user was awakened so it doesn't have any of the bad wapol connotations.
Emeth reminds me of the space robots from Eneli's cover story, they can express emotions,eat and sleep despite their robotic nature

I saw the combo attack as Luffy pooling the blows and reflecting it all in one blow. So Franky might have contributed anything to the Haki, but he definitely contributed to the force that would impact with the help of Haki.

Ju Peter was not saving anyone. The were already safe as they landed on the ground. He' sucked them up and shot them out as ammo, some landing in boats was by chance, and s bear probably landed on the giants ship.

Honestly the first thought i have with bonney with gear 5th is luffy every time he uses it he ends up an old man which for me my thought process is luffy's main characteristics is being made of rubber which probably one of the main things that help him to be able to return back normal after regaining some stamina after eating. Bonney unlike luffy can only immitate the form after her time is up itll take sometime for her to natural regain energy back resulting in what happened this chapter.
Emeth has to be a reference to Emett Brown, that would just be the greatest regarding the time that has passed

Emeth could be made from a special material that predates sea stone, which can hurt the 'assumed" *literal* devils the Gorosei are, but not devil fruit users since it wasn't originally made to produce the energy of the sea.
A part of the chapter really was Bonnie answering Luffy's request of being hit from the back. 🤔
