This says a lot about Walker and his parents. Good for your Walker. Some things are good, other things better, but some are the best. And you've chosen the best. Everything will be here waiting for you when you get back. But there are some Norwegians waiting just for you to change their lives. God bless you for your commitment and dedication to living in the Savior's way.
Elder Lyons, thank you for your fine example of sacrificing your time and talents to serve a mission. The Lord will bless you in more ways than you can imagine. I am continually amazed by the strength of our youth in these the last days and you have amazed me.
This is awesome!! Way to go Elder!! My son is currently serving a mission and he choose to go even after receiving and accepting an offer to play baseball in collage. The coach was so kind to let our son defer his scholarship for 2 years and is fully supportive of him serving a mission even though he is not a member. It’s amazing the doors that will open as you fully commit to serve the Lord!!
That's cool. One of my friends plays for byu football he did that too however as its byu its almost always accepted .. where is your missionary serving as I am in the Leeds England mission UK
I served as a counselor to Jeremy Guthrie, when he was a mission president here in Texas. He turned down a $1 million dollar check from a pro baseball team to serve a mission. He came back and went on to play 15 years as an MLB pro. The Lord blesses those who keep his commandments.
That was so moving! Thank you for sharing your love for God by being humble and obedient. You'll do great things in life. We'll be rooting for you and your team!
"I know that Heavenly Father loves me... Jesus Christ died for all of us, when you have that knowledge choices like this don't seem hard. I know this is God's full church restored...I love the church, I love the gospel." Thank you Church News and Walker!
Missionaries hardly ever bat, or even get close to, .300. I, for just one, thank God every day, for a guy with a white shirt and a black name tag who simply said: Brother Jansson, you need to read the Book..." To that counsel, to the Spirt's touch...I owe my life, my wife, my family. All I may ever hope to
How are we making it worse.. by teaching morals and living for others and being a respectful part of society .. I think we are making the world better one person at a time .. for me i am a convert but its hard for these young missionarys but also very hard for there parents too as its scary on both sides

Excellent brother! 🤗
❤❤❤
Please just leave people alone. I know you feel like you're improving the world but the vast majority of the time you're really making it worse.
Making it worse… how so?
