I've finished 8th grade and started re-studying everything to prepare for 9th grade, however in my book to convert m/s to km/h it only said to multiply by 3,6. I never really understood it well, since we never used it, but now that I've watched your video it's all clear! Thank you very much!!!!
By the easy way kilometer/hour equals to 1000 meter/3600 second. So it is equal to 5 meters /18 seconds. İf you want to change the km/h to m/s you have to multiply it with 5/18.
Yes, but personally I think 10/36 or 36/10 is easier than 5/18.... However, this method is to help you work it out from scratch and to understand why multiplying it out work
Thank you very much, but like I wonder why does my school have to make use such an over complicated method when you have stuff like this. Still this is very helpfull because I can just write down the "formula" but do this simple calculation in my head.
@@chhyminyreach8715 They say that at High school or something (I don't know how it's called in Engrish) I'm gonna have to do it in a detailed and "scientific" way.
There are many other countries in the world that use a comma instead of a decimal point. It's good to know that Mary's have different conventions in many countries
68 km/h to m/s.68 km multiply 1000 m to 68000 m.1 hour multiply 60 minutes and 60 seconds to 3600 seconds.68000 m divide 3600 seconds to 18.8 m/s.68 km/h = 18.8 m/s.

this is a fantastic video, apart from the fact that ur write commas instead of point. IDK it just weirds me out
That's because I teach in Sweden and here they use a comma instead of a decimal point. Sorry I know that's annoying. Best regards
Wendy
Yes 😊
Any way your concept is very useful for me..thnks a lot from india

This is exactly like school but somehow its easier
Thank you so much ❤️
You’re welcome 😊
Thanku. But when we convert kg/m-3 into g/cm-3..? We cannot apply this formula?? Plz guide us as soon as possible..thanku..
I'll make a video to show this in the next few days
tqsm!
You are so welcome
Thanks for helping me understand this

Thanks it helped a lot Wendy are you scottish
No I'm from England, but my maiden name is of Scottish descent. So somewhere down the line my ancestors were Scottish. ❤️
@@Wendy_maths interesting!
It is very helpful thank u so much😘
Thank u
Thanks so much mam😊
Thanks mam
🥴
it is 1000 km and 3600 hr
1 km is the same as 1000meters and 1 hour is the same as 3600 seconds
I still dont understand..
İf you multiply km/h with 5/18 you will get equal value in m/s. For example:90 km/h = 90.5/18=25m/s
And if you multiply meter/second with 18/5 you will find the equal value in kilometer/hour.
5/18 or 18/5 comes from the equality of km/h = 1000 m /3600 seconds which it is equal to 5m/18 seconds.
Did you understand know ?
@Marko2000 Too you.
