How to change m/s to km/h and km/h to m/s

I've finished 8th grade and started re-studying everything to prepare for 9th grade, however in my book to convert m/s to km/h it only said to multiply by 3,6. I never really understood it well, since we never used it, but now that I've watched your video it's all clear! Thank you very much!!!!

By the easy way kilometer/hour equals to 1000 meter/3600 second. So it is equal to 5 meters /18 seconds. İf you want to change the km/h to m/s you have to multiply it with 5/18.

Yes, but personally I think 10/36 or 36/10 is easier than 5/18.... However, this method is to help you work it out from scratch and to understand why multiplying it out work

68 km/h to m/s.68 km multiply 1000 m to 68000 m.1 hour multiply 60 minutes and 60 seconds to 3600 seconds.68000 m divide 3600 seconds to 18.8 m/s.68 km/h = 18.8 m/s.
