I’m glad he put “professional, do not attempt” on that seal one. So many people try to catch falling seals all the time and don’t understand just how dangerous it can be.
Professionals probably shouldn't attempt it, either.

It was really incredible how prepared the owls were. One was guarding the eggs while the other fought to protect them. So cool and so sweet.

For me it is fat tip Crayola style markers or the like making that sort of smooth, dry textured sound as one swipes a long line. It is purely the quality of the noise and I can 'feel' it like it is in my bones. Gives me a little shudder and weird discomfort in my spine that needs shaking off. It's a definite 'gross' feeling, and akin to a nausea, I suppose, but different, for me. No one has ever noticed, but then I don't hang around long when it is going on, anyway. Drawing such a line myself and feeling the marker drag across the paper while hearing myself make the sound is worst.
The sound Windows makes when you click to open a file causes me to jump as if startled.

I actually do have a sound that I hate. The sound of scraping ice off a car window doesn't make me nauseous like that but it does make me feel pretty uncomfortable. My brother gets the same from the creaky sound chip bags make when you try to open them

@@Foxygamer0101, I can understand her. I mean, for many years the look of saliva and the sound of throwing up, along with some accommodating sounds made me feel nauseous as well. Also the same thing goes for the flavour: some flavours are just yucky for me, and to some I get used to too easily. And, yes, that causes me to feel nauseous as well.
It's all fun and jokes until you literally cannot eat the same food for few days straight or brush your teeth, especially after eating, because all of it can literally make you to throw up.

@@vomm well, i'm sure she actually meant well and tries to make the animals life better. it's not the trainers that are responsible for the exploitation, it's the managers and if you want to see it that way, the visitors and even the people who watch these clips on youtube. she wouldn't have put her wellbeing at risk, if she didn't care a lot for the animal.
One of the best things about the internet is seeing people you can relate with. That Styrofoam thing is a real pain, but when mentioned, it sounds like a joke

For those curious, the girl suffers from misophonia (the fear of certain sounds). I have misophonia, but specifically towards things that vibrate like shower glass, exercise balls, guitars, etc. The best way I could describe the feeling when hearing such sounds is getting anxious and having a fight or flight reaction to whatever is making the sound. She seems to have a disgust feeling towards it.
There isn't a set study or theory as to what causes misophonia, but if I had a guess, it started during infancy when such sounds startled or scared a child. This is why some people get anxious during thunderstorms, even till adulthood.
That's not misophonia imho. It's more likely just sensory disgust. As you say, misophonia involves heavy aggression or flight impulses. She only shows disgust. Also, she causes the sound by herself. Misophonia is usually only triggered by sounds other humans cause (as long as there are not also other traits like SPS).
If I touch a dusty dry sponge or certain types of velour fabric, I almost cough and loose my breath. Don't know if it's a kind of phobia, but it certainly is strange. I'm lucky it's happens rarely. 😂

I have so many questions about your thumbnail. Is it the same plane from the video and it's just been edited for...some reason, or are these separate incidents? If they are the same incident why edit the plane's call number and the color of the guy's jumpsuit? Or are these separate incidents and both planes have call numbers one letter off from the other? That would be a very interesting coincidence. Love your videos! Still one of the few channels I subscribe to.
I can relate to that feeling of being bothered by a sound to the point of wanting to throw up. For me, it's the screech that chairs with metal legs do when they're moved.
Have you had an autism diagnosis? if not, you might want to look into it.

I'm glad I've gotten to know a family of local crows. I can see the body language in that hawk going "O MY DEAR GOD I AM SO SORRY, I DIDN'T REALIZE YOU WERE HERE."
My guess is either the hawk was checking out the human made nest for itself for the nesting season or was hoping to get some free eggs from a songbird that couldn't put up a fight.

As a skydiver, I can tell you that a real skydiver's worst fears are:
- Hard parachute openings, which can lead to unconsciousness, severe fractures, or even a broken neck
- Collisions during freefall, potentially resulting in unconsciousness, serious fractures, or even death if the speed difference is substantial
- Collisions while flying under a canopy, which might cause parachute entanglement, preventing the deployment of the reserve parachute or leaving no time to deploy it if the impact occurs at a low altitude
- Horseshoe malfunctions, where you become entangled in parachute lines, potentially blocking the reserve parachute from deploying
Unlike the situation in the video, the things from the above list often happen and can be deadly :P

The first two things shouldnt be a Problem hence reserve..
But what do you mean these things happen often? Like 1/100, 1/1000, 1/10000 times ? Put this in perspective before putting out nonsense...
@@ronburgundy2383 I see we have an expert here. The first two ARE the problem. Even if the reserve opens automatically, many sports parachutes fall too fast (and usually reserve parachute have similar characteristics as the main one), and you need to slow them down before landing. Therefore, if you become unconscious or paralyzed, there is a huge risk of death or serious injuries, despite landing under a fully opened parachute. The exact statistics can be found on the USPA website, the ones I mentioned are not the most common, but they can happen despite how well trained you are - which is why they are so scary to us.

@@ronburgundy2383 We're talking about fears, not statistics. People are more afraid of flying in a plane than driving a car, despite the latter being more dangerous. It's the same with skydiving; the most scary things are related to things over which we have no control. Also, on average, a skydiver needs to use a reserve parachute every few hundred jumps (I think the average is around 700, but for more professional skydivers [>1000 jumps] is closer to 400-500), so it's basically impossible that your friends with 6-8 thousand jumps never had any problem. Ask them how many times they had to use a reserve and you will get a different response.

It's actually the other way around.
Owls hunt and eat hawks, and are significantly stronger than them.
The hawk didn't know it was an owls nest and entered by mistake, notice how the hawk immediately grabbed the owls feet, thats because the owl would have ripped him to shreds otherwise.
Really close call for the hawk.

The hawk did not accidentally fly into the Owl's Nest. The hawk was looking for the babies to eat.

Nice. Reminds me of that old joke about a fisherman sitting close to the water, looking patiently at the bobber on the water surface.
