@@tlotlisomoswane He kinda is and I don't mean that in a disrespectful way... It's hard to balance being lyrically amazing and commercial viability (Shane mentioned this in 'Let It Flow'). So you end up lacking somewhere but have to make up for the deficiency by being extremely good in the other...
Look at it this way... When Cass came up, he had an amazing balance to it. He was new and had his flows (lyrically amazing). People like hearing fresh blood hitting the industry (commercially viable). Then the shift began... Relevant sponsors (companies) saw this upcoming star and wanted to use him as a force.
It worked out eventually... The popular 'Fill Up' event became of this, internationally he was recognized (he even got on Shade 45). It was amazing... Because the ultimate goal is to be rich not look rich, he kept working on his public image ever since. This sacrifices the hours he could've put to sharpen his craft even futher than any rapper around could reach. But hey, a man's gotta eat... So the decline eminent, some rapper or artist on the come up is eventually going to get ahead of him lyrically speaking...
So now he's stuck in a position where he has to be consistently relevant commercially (so he could spend on his desirable ventures such as the sneaker deal I suppose). But also not lose his touch completely on the mic. Hence the explorations with the Amapiano genre and so many others...
In conclusion Mufasa is good just not as good as before....
