Family Matters is an American Family Sitcom Created by William Bickley and Michael Warren which aired on ABC from 22 September 1989 to 17 July 1998.
This show stars Reginald VelJohnson as Carl Wilnslow who is a policeman and revolves around his family, Carl has enough to deal with on his job as a policeman and when he gets home he still has to handle his kids,
his wife- Harriette, portrayed by Jo Marie Payton, his mom, a sister-in-law and a nerd next door, Steve Urke, portrayed by Jaleel White, who doesn't understand that he doesn't actually live with the Winslows.
Family Matters ran for 9 seasons with a total of 215 episodes and has won many awards

There are a lot of actresses & actors I barley recognize,however a lot the folks on here,haven’t changed drastically & very recognizable & that’s a tribute to them! They obviously take very good care of themselves.
I wish Family Matters could do a reunion show.

Loved this show. & have got all the seasons on DVD. Many scenes make me laugh very hard!
Nice tribute, just a reminder however the older person in video with Orlando Brown is not Brown but it’s actor Juan Pope, who also had roles in couple episodes of show.

With everyone still alive. I wonder if they'll ever do a reunion show. Jaleel White is very protective of the character & legacy of Steve Urkel. Now that he's in his early 40s, he many not want to reinvent the character. Oftentimes, some things are better left alone & unsaid. Extraordinary cast, btw.
He came to do SUNY Oneonta college a few years ago. Very personable and he seemed to be very down to earth🙂🙂👍👍👍👍
But not everyone is still alive. Mother Winslow is passed on now.
@@karenpurvis1907 Due to health reasons, Rosetta LeNoire, Mother Winslow, left the show prior to it its final seasons. So, her character can easily be written out. Also, she wasn't a main character after the first few seasons anyway.

There's alot of errors in this video
Some of the pics don't show the right people, and a few of the now ages are not quite right...Jaleel White is actually 45 since his birthday is in November, and he was born almost 3 years after me, and I'm 48, so he WILL be 46 this year...but not for another 6 months. When I turn 49, he'll still be 46 lol.
