Just picked up a '98 Cobra convertable, 29k, flawless condition...changed plugs and just like yours, they were different on the L and R sides...replaced with Motorcraft platinum...also replaced plug wires with MSD "copper core" wires, far less resistance than carbon wires. MSD uses special "space-age" shielding to prevent radio & phone interference.
I always get a little jealous of you late 97 and newer Cobra owners who got the SVT plaque on the valve cover. I have an early 97 Cobra with the sticker and it’s so faded that you can’t even see the names and you can barely see the print on it.

I wonder why they had the different plugs with the platinum on different parts of the plug? And did you sell your Cobra yet?
It's still For Sale.

I have the Decal as well on my 1997, it has a build date of Jan.97. I wonder at what point they started with the plaques.
