god i love hole so much, i’ve been a fan for years but i only recently started looking for their stuff that’s off apple music, so so happy to find new old hole
Since I’ve switched to Spotify I’ve seen more Courtney stuff recently I still do prefer Apple Music for the better sound audio and its aesthetically pleasing
1 - Over the Edge (@00:00) *Recorded by Brian Foxworthy(3/92) 2 - Pale Blue Eyes (@02:45) *Live at The Whiskey (2/11/92) 3 - Drown Soda (@06:43) *John Peel Session BBC Radio (11/91) 4 - Doll Parts (@10:35) *John Peel Session BBC Radio (11/91) 5 - Violet (@12:54) *John Peel Session BBC Radio (11/91) 6 - Forming / Hot Chocolate Boy (@16:34) *John Peel Session BBC Radio (11/91)
For some reason it’s not on streaming services. I’m a gen z fan so I can’t really get ahold of their music otherwise. I wonder why it seems a lot is missing from Spotify. I’ve missed out on a lot of holes music and I have to find it on TH-cam
I have this on disk - been trying to digital my stuff - like finding it in digital format that is - this one - nope no one’s sells it - so i shall forever keep my cd … 😂 thank you for putting this up !
Why the hell isn’t this on Spotify?! I’m a gen z fan so I don’t have the CDs and stuff. I realized I’ve missed so many Hole songs since I can’t stream them and I don’t know where to look!! If anyone has any information on this and the EP it would be appreciated!
They should do a documentary about the rise and decline of Riot Grrrl. Although, I’m pretty sure they have. Rock on Bikini Kill, Babes In Toyland, L7, Breeders, and Hole. 🤘🤘🤘
There's a documentary about Bikini Kill's Kathleen Hanna, that talks about how it started and how it kind of faded into a new wave of riot grrrl music.
@J.C - She is just one part of a huge scene. And that’s not a knock on her. I think Kurt was onto something trying to expose the Riot Grrrl scene to a wider audience.
@Alejandro Exactly, that’s why no one else in that genre had any success or more than a couple of half decent songs and Hole/Courtney have dozens because those other bands only stuck within the constraints of being an angry riot girl instead of focusing on making great music.
is this a re-release or something entirely different with the same EP cover? Cos I swear I bought this and it sounded fuck all like this. I think im just getting old and questioning my psychosis. Any how good god I love that girl!
this is the record. any detractor of hole needs to hear this.
Courtney has many albums that are good

Imagine the sound in vinyl
Thanks for the grrl angry angel growl. Unbeatable punk vibes on angel Wings
Hell yeah! I also am thankful for that. If Courtney didn’t help me express my anger I’d be dead today. I was just a little kid! She saved me!
I had this on CD in the '90s - i had forgotten until i saw the cover.

(But the main focus of the documentary is Kathleen's carreer ofcourse.)
Courtney’s never declined, she transcends Riot Grrrl more so than anyone else and is just a legend of music in general.
@J.C - She is just one part of a huge scene. And that’s not a knock on her. I think Kurt was onto something trying to expose the Riot Grrrl scene to a wider audience.
