I got my Rockrider ST100 5 years ago as my daily driver to school. Ive calculated that is has about 15.000km now, and i never knew that people ride it like this!
Nice trail, I have the same bike what chain speed so I need to change my broken chain I went to buy one but didn't know which speed I needed and does any one recommend a brand of chain
I have one. Yes wheelies are fairly easy just requires some adjustment of seat and putting it in a low gear. Jumps are also fairly easy becuase the bike is quite light and flickable. Overall it's a good entry level bike and I reccomend you get one!
Wow so nice! Is the bike also good on rainy days? Yesterday I went to indoor mountanbike. It was my first time with this experience besides schoolcamp of 14 years ago. I liked it so much so maybe I will decide to also buy this bike.
@@mtbcrusader2446 wow thanks for the fast answer! Because most of the time I here that V brakes are not that good and that you need hydrolic brakes. So this bike have V brakes for what I know.
Yo cuando tenía mas libertad era feliz con la bici pero ahora estoy en un centro y no puedo tenerla donde estoy, porque no tengo donde meterla , es una rockriders st 100 también
I feel like your suspension is too stiff idk maybe im dumb but i feel like it is cuz the jumps seem like they hurt and each rock slows you down if it is could u not change through the twisty stuff on the suspension
If it is the chain then it might be ok because the chain Is supposed to be loose and btw use electric tape which is the same colour as your cycle above and below the side where the gear box is located because it can help you minimize the damage that is being caused by the chain on the frame and also use the tape near the peddling area where the disks are located near the body and the chance when kept in a 1:1 ratio because th chain gets stuck between the peddle disk thing and the body and the chain can cause body issues and also clean the chain and reapply the lubricant so It doesn't happen again@@mtbcrusader2446
@MTB CRUSADER thanks. From the looks of your video, seems like $99 was a great investment because that trail looks about as hard as a lot of the trails to ride around here. Appreciate the info! Subscribed!
Almost 2 years as a hardtail bike i would rate it a 9 because of how durable it is for cheap price but overall if comparing full suspensions aswell id give it a 7
Love this type of riding. Following a mate down an unknown trail, sick!!
They Make for The Most Exciting Rides!

Would you be able to do wheelies and jumps on this bike? Because I am looking for an affordable mtb

@@thundergirl95.25 thats true, brakes could be better, for its price i think its an excellent bike, look around good luck in finding your bike!
@@mtbcrusader2446 thank you so much! I will keep watch your videos!
@@thundergirl95.25when I was young there where no disk brakes, and people used them on rainy days. You will get used to it.
Where is the rattling noise coming from?
Spring suspension or fork whatever you wanna call it the springs make those noises it normal

this a good bike for starters about 200£ have enough money just curious if i should send it
for 200 ye its sick
can this bike be used as a hard tail trials bike? I want to expand on hopping and need a platform that’s cheaper to start… Also great vid!
Ye shes not too bad for trails although shes a little heavy compared to full suspensions
Rockrider st100 which colour is best??
Whichever one you love, i love green so i picked green
Gotta love gripshifts
Oh yeeeeee!
I feel like your suspension is too stiff idk maybe im dumb but i feel like it is cuz the jumps seem like they hurt and each rock slows you down if it is could u not change through the twisty stuff on the suspension
What is that metal clicking sound that never happens for my st100 better check the issue
Not sure tbh must be something with the chain

And also love your videos
Do you just keep your seat low? Or do you have a dropper post? I'm new and me and my wife both purchased st100 models and am curious.
Ye for trails like this i keep the seat low enough so i can comfortably stand on the pedals

Can I buy this bike...is it strong enough for such rides?
