The big lie is that Cosmo can hear you. Yet it has no mic, so unlike how it's suggested in the video, yelling at it will not elicit a behavior. Artificial intelligence? Well that covers a wide range of opinions on what AI constitutes. Mostly what it has are programmed responses that we interpret as exhibiting emotions.

The thing is, these are the basics. We as humans are "preprogrammed" as well. Problem is, our reactions and behavior are a lot, a lot more complex than Cozmo's in such a way that no one understands fully yet and are most likely caused by other reactions which were caused by other reactions which were caused by other reactions...
Alright, what I mean in a nutshell is that Cozmo is indeed kind of an amazing piece of AI.
